HILL of Rochester, Minnesota. Helen was born in Kitchener
on December 26, 1913. A trained music teacher, she taught Kindergarten
at the McKeough School in Chatham. She joined First St. Andrews
United Church in 1940 after her marriage to Rudy, a long time
member of the church with his family: brother Ken and parents

Helen joined the
Choir and served for over 50 years in the Alto section. Many
volunteer interests included teaching in the Mission Band and
Sunday School. She enjoyed Friends in Delta Row (later, the United
Church Women) and
Bi-Focals. Her civic volunteering included
the Parkwood Hospital Auxiliary, Inner Wheel (Rotary Club of
London), Garden Club, Imperial Order of the Daughters of the
Empire and London Council of Women. Donations, in lieu of flowers,
can be made by cheque to "First St. Andrews United Church - Eberhard
Memorial Music Fund" (350 Queens Avenue, London, N6B 1X6) and
will be gratefully acknowledged. Special thanks goes to the staff
of Mount Hope and caring companion of Helen, Gloria Sutherland.

paid their respects to Lloyd at the funeral home and attended
