BELL, Matthew Gerald
Peacefully as the result of an accident on Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Matthew Gerald BELL in his 20th year. Beloved son of Irene BELL and her friend Jean-Claude LACROIX, and the late Thomas BELL. Loving brother of Nicole BELL and her close friend Jaggar HASSAN, and Gregory BELL. Loved grand_son of Julie and Roel DE VRIES. Cherished boyfriend of Jamie DURSTON. Dear nephew of Nancy CRAIK and her friend Manny MOCCI, Don CRAIK, Jerry (Tammy) DE VRIES, Beverley (Roy) CAMERON, John BELL, Peter BELL and Darlene PRATT. Cousin of Sarah, Luke and Ben CRAIK; Ashley and Adam DE VRIES; Jack and Mitch CAMERON; Quinn and Connor BELL. Matt will also be remembered by his life long friend Cody and two amigos Brent and Kyle. The family will receive Friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to all Matt's Friends and family who came to the hospital. Special thanks to the nurses and staff in Critical Care Trauma Centre for their extraordinary support. Peacefully at Saint_Joseph's Health Care Centre in Toronto after a brief illness, on Sunday, April 23rd, 2006, in his 85th year. Beloved husband to Natalie. Cherished father to Linda (Brian), Bobbi (Dave) and William (Jennifer). Wonderful grandfather to Owen, Adrienne (Greg), Neil, Graham, Katie, and Sandy. He will be greatly missed by his extended family in Winnipeg and all of his Friends. Merse was an honoured decorated Veteran of World War 2 and long time volunteer at Association of United Ukrainian Canadians. A private family funeral service has been arranged. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint_Joseph's Health Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family. Beloved husband of Loretta (KENTY) REID (née GIROUX) and the late Flossie REID (née WILSON) (1969.) Dear father of Wayne (Donna) REID of London, Francis (Bill) LEGG of Woodstock, Marie (Gord STACEY) PATKUS of London, Terry (Betty) REID of Elliot Lake and Geraldine (Raymond) BRISEBOIS of Tillsonburg. Step-father of Laura MOCK of Vienna and Marcella KENTY of Elliot Lake. He will be greatly missed by 12 grand_sons and 1 granddaughter, plus many great-grandchildren as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters Marjorie (Russ) STEVENS of Brownsville and Elma (Bev) GAGEN of Saint Thomas, sister-in-law Jean REID and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers John (1994) and David (2003). The dear son of the late Priscilla and Wilmot REID. A Memorial Service will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. KIRBY, Helen Fay (formerly BATTEN, née LAVELLE)
Of Sarnia, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 4, 2006 in the Cape Coral, Florida hospital. Faye, as she wished to be called, sustained a heart attack at home on January 31, 2006 and never regained consciousness. Born in Saint Marys, resident of Sarnia, and Florida "snowbird", she touched the hearts of many. Faye greatly enjoyed her work in the travel industry. Survivors include her parents, Leonard LAVELLE of Saint Marys, Helen Kurtz MITCHELL of London, sister Elizabeth "Betty" (Mrs. Fred DUBRICK) of Sebringville and two brothers, James and wife Jeanne of St. Clair, Michigan and William and wife Jill of Edmonton, son Ritchard BATTEN of Calgary, daughter Lisa BATTEN of Sebringville, granddaughter Kayleigh of Victoria, British Columbia, and step-children Scott KIRBY of Clovis, California, Reed KIRBY of San Diego, California, Allison PRYHARSKI of Culver City, California, and her husband, Major H. KIRBY, Jr. (Hank) of Cape Coral, Florida. Faye who derived great pleasure planning and participating in cruises most recently participated in a three week venture over Christmas and New Years from Ft. Lauderdale to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with stops at four Caribbean Islands, Devi's Island and five Brazilian ports. Albums of treasured photographs including Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf remain partly assembled. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2006, 3: 15 p.m. at St. Peters Cathedral, London, by Father Jim MOCKLER. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the charity of your choice.

The family of the late Donald L. RUSSELO would like to express our sincere appreciation to family and Friends for their support, masses, prayers, flowers, food, cards and donations received during Don's illness and subsequent passing. A compassionate thank you to the 4th floor staff at University Hospital for their care and support in keeping Don comfortable in his last days. A special thanks to Fr. Clarence FITZGERALD, a family friend, who came from Windsor and to Fr. Jim MOCKLER who concelebrated the Funeral Mass at Saint Peter's Basilica. Thanks to Helen JANISSE of Saint Peter's and to the staff at Donohue Funeral Home for their understanding and compassion. We could not have endured the last month without you and understand all too well how difficult it was for you.
