HODGES, George William Edward
Passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe on Monday, February 6, 2006 in his 85th year. Predeceased by his first wife Lilian Isobel REA. Beloved husband and best friend for 25 years of Theresa Margaret (MEPHAM.) Loving father of Brenda PARR and her husband Jay of Ottawa. Much loved and loving step-father and grandfather to John and Karen MEPHAM and John of Dundas, Robert MEPHAM, Jamie and Kathryn of Calgary, Lynda and Tom VAN ZUIDEN, Thomas and Kimberly of Dundas, Donald and Geraldine MEPHAM, Jennifer, Michelle and Katelyn of Hamilton. George served in World War 2 as a chief Petty Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy. Friends will be received by the family Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Cattel Eaton and Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where a service will take place for George on Thursday at 2 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Norfolk General Hospital would be appreciated by the family. www.catteleatonandchambers.ca

BAKER, Frederick William
At Victoria Hospital, L.H.S.C., on Sunday, September 17, 2006, Frederick William BAKER, retired 45 year employee of the Equipment Department of C.N. Railway, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Gwen. Dear father of Karleen and Keith MEPHAM of Belmont and Rick and Roxanne of Waterloo. Loving grandfather of Jack, Dan, Frank, Jennie and Leigh. Also survived by 1 sister Emily FLETCHER of Nova Scotia. At Mr. BAKER's request there will be no funeral home visitation. A private family service was conducted at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, with The Rev. Canon Janet LYNALL officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the L'Arche Canada Foundation. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca. MEPSTED, Patricia " Pat" (formerly QUANTRILL)
Peacefully at University Hospital on Saturday, October 28th, 2006, Mrs. Patricia "Pat" MEPSTED, of London, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leslie MEPSTED and the late Ernest James QUANTRILL. Loving mother of Patricia (Ken) CRAWFORD, David (Gloria) QUANTRILL, Allison (life time partner Don MAIR) BARRETT and Sharon (Keith) FRY. Sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Bertha EVEREST. Friends may call at the Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, London (519-434-9141) on Tuesday, October 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service from St. Andrew Memorial Church, 49 Foxbar Road, London on Wednesday, November 1st at 1 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior.
