Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Friday, February 17, 2006, Clare Rhoda (BROWN) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, of Country Manor, Thedford, formerly of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend and Montreal, age 86. Beloved wife of the late William Nixon THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (1986.) Lovingly remembered by her niece, Beverley LACELLE and her husband Marc of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Predeceased by her parents James and Rhoda (LUDKIN) BROWN and her brother Dr. Edwin J. BROWN. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation prior to the Funeral Service which will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Monday, February 20, 2006 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Harry DISHER officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Of Chesley, passed away at London Health Sciences Centre University Campus on Saturday, October 14, 2006 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband and friend of Donna. Loving father of Trudy and her husband Rolly CREWS of Elmwood, Donald and his wife Jane of Bracebridge and Brad and his wife Carol of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Loving grandfather of twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Allan will be missed by his son-in-law Don GATEMAN of Elmwood and sisters Irene McINTYRE and Frances MINK both of Chesley. Predeceased by his daughter Janice GATEMAN, sisters Rita HARVIE, Audrey EATON and Mabel MINK and his parents, William and Martha (LUDLOW) MINK. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Chesley Community Church at 1 p.m. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Chesley Community Church, Bible Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Born March 7, 1930 Fort William, passed away peacefully at home in Markham Sunday morning June 18, 2006 in her 77th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of Grover (Babe) married 53 years. Cherished mother of Gregory (Myrna), Jeffrey and Kelly. Beloved sister of Dorothy. Predeceased by her beloved parents Francis and Ethel, sisters Frances and June, brother Alan. Adored by many nieces, nephews and other family in Canada, the United States and Britain. York Region school secretary for several years. Fondly remembered by many dear Friends and neighbours across Canada, having been raised in Sioux Lookout, lived also in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg and Edmonton and traveled widely. Sadly missed and always remembered. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 8 from 4: 00 p.m. to 6: 00 p.m. at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N, Markham, Ontario. Mr. Dairy Queen of Alliston has taken off on his final trip. Clare Lionel LUDLOW passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ontario, in his 87th year. Loving husband of Helen BOWYER of Alliston for 59 years. Dear father of Linda FOWLER and her husband Eric, Susan SCOTT and her late husband Alvin, Brian LUDLOW and his wife Joanne, and predeceased by his son Jim LUDLOW. Loving grandad of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Keith LUDLOW. Visitation will be held at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria Street E., Alliston, from 7-9 p.m. on Friday evening. A Celebration of Clare's Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Alliston Legion, 111 Dufferin Street S., Alliston. Beloved wife of the late Jack BLAIR (1988.) Dear aunt of R.J. CREIGHTON (Karen) of Walkerton, Ontario, Joan McFARLAND (the late Don) of Cookstown, Ontario, John HENDERSON (Joyce) of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Rudi AKSIM (Martha) of Carp, Ontario and John ALLAN (Cherrie) of Courtice, Ontario. Fondly remembered by many great nieces and nephews. Ella was a well known teacher and she taught school in Lobo and Watford, Ontario for many years. Friends may call at the Denning Bros. AIKEN, John Edward
Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital Friday, June 2nd, 2006, at the age of 82 after a long and healthy life. He loved his family, he loved his home and he loved to ski. He worked right until the end and is now officially retired. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Barbara, his son David (Sue) AIKEN and his daughters; Nancy (Tim) LUDWIG and Heather (Mark) EWALD. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Rachael and Kellen AIKEN and Emmett and Meg EWALD.
