Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Monday November 27th, 2006 at Sunnybrook Veterans' Wing in his 96th year. Loving husband to Elizabeth Catherine (née LOY.) Dear father to John Anthony (Noni CAMPBELL) and Wendy Minette SANDERS (Roger.) Proud grandfather to Julie (Tony), David (Jeannie), Bob (Nicola), Andrew (Judy), Katie (Don), and great-grandfather to Ellie, Heather, William, Chloe, Ethan, Megan, Wesley, James, Bryson, and Lauren. John is survived by his sister Julia SMITH and her children; John, Rosemary, Judy, and Nora MINETTE. A memorial service celebrating John's life will be held at Trull 'North Toronto' Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks south of Lawrence) on Saturday December 2 at 11 a.m. Following the service a reception will be held in the 'Lytton Room' of the funeral home. Burial will take place at Saint_John's Anglican Cemetery, Port Hope. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1300, P.O. Box 2414, Toronto, M4P 1E4 or The Canadian Cancer Society, 20 Holly Street, Suite 200, Toronto, M4S 3B1 or the Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center, 2075 Bayview Avenue Toronto, Ontario M4N 3M5.

Passed away suddenly on February 11, 2006. She will be sadly missed by children: Francis (Jamaica,) Karen and Stephen YEE, Daniel and JoJo HO LUNG, Thomas (Hong Kong;) grandchildren: Mario and Cindy, Bruce, Darius, Jason, Sean, Kehanne; great-grandchildren: Maya, Hannah; surviving siblings: Olwyn and Nelson FONG, Sr. Joan CLARE, Jeffrey CHIN LOY. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Bob, Jim, Erin, Leah and Ali. Dear sister of the late John PLATT of Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Age 53 years, passed away peacefully at home in London, January 20, 2006 following a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved life partner of John BROEZE. Cherished friend of Darlene LOYST and family.
