EDELSON, Jacqueline Perle (née SINGER) B.A., M.S.W.
Peacefully in her 84th year at Sunnybrook Hospital on Sunday, May 28, 2006. Founding director of Wagman Center at Baycrest and pioneer in the special care of mentally impaired elderly. Jacqueline, devoted wife of the late Howard EDELSON. Loving mother of Jeff EDELSON and Lynne WATSON, Miriam EDELSON and Andy KING, Abbe EDELSON, and step-mother of Tom EDELSON and Rachel LODEN. Dear sister of Edgar and daughter-in-law Faye. Loving grandmother of Kaitlyn, Sarah, the late Jake, Emma and Claire. Sadly missed by niece Anna and nephew Jonathan. A service will be held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. West (3 lights west of Dufferin) on Tuesday afternoon May 30, 2006. Please call (416) 663-9060 for service time. Suddenly passed away at home on Friday, April 14, 2006. Ken leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 26 years Sharon (MOXLEY.) Loving father to Ronnette MOXLEY, Shelly MOXLEY (Steve) and special son-in-law Curtis TOWNS. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jessica (Jamie), Chantel (Kyle), Amber (Keith), Heather (Paul), Joey, Scotty, Daniel and great-grandchildren Jade, Shaunisti, Jace and Kadence. Dearly missed by mother Rosa BELL and mother-in-law Betty MOXLEY. Survived by brother John BELL (Elizabeth,) sisters Dareth TEASDALE and Ruth BELL, sisters-in-law Marie BELL, Faith MOXLEY, Bonnie LODGE (Terry), Shelly DICKSON/DIXON (Butch) and Lynda MOXLEY and brothers-in-law Robert MOXLEY and Ralph MOXLEY. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father Earl, brother David, granddaughter Ashley, brother-in-law Abe and sister-in-law Sharon. Family and Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.), on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Logan Chapel on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at 10: 30 a.m. with Pastor Junior C. SORZANO, from the London First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Cremation to take place. Reception to follow at the Victoria Hotel (Maitland and South St.). In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family. Dear mother of Mindah WIGLE and her husband Ray of Woodstock and Bruce and his wife Annette of Petawawa. Loved grandmother of Raymer (Mary), Rein (Jenn), Dustin and great grandmother of Bryce, Jaden and Quinn. Dear sister of Verna LODGER (Fred) of Brantford, Frances McLAUGHLIN of Simcoe, Gord ROLOSON (Alma) of Woodstock, Eva GREATHEAD of Delhi and sister-in-law of June ROLOSON of Simcoe. Predeceased by her brother Jim "Albert" ROLOSON (2004). Elaine had worked as an R.N.A. at the Woodstock General Hospital for many years. Friends may call at the R.D. Loving father of Avrille of Montreal. Dear brother of Beth and her husband Scott ALLATT of Pointe Claire, Québec. Proud uncle to Kyle of Montreal and Kurt of Nelson, British Columbia. Passed away peacefully on December 30, 2005, at the Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, in his 69th year, after a sudden stroke. Dearly beloved husband of Helga for 47 years. Loving father of Thomas (Donna), Anita (Gordon) and Daniel (Shelley). Proud and cherished grandfather of Alexander and Alanna, Nathan, Benny and Latasha, Maiah and Staveley. He will be sadly missed by all the people his life touched. Family will receive Friends at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, January 4 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
