Retep LLIMSGNIK met an untimely death at the Grand Masters Downhill
Ski Event at Osler Bluff Ski Club. He was beating the clock and
lead racer in his division of 75 plus until he got stuck in a
rut, caught a tip and catapulted into an unfortunately placed
oak of similar age. Observers say he tried to get up to finish
the race, valiantly stood up, took one step and then fell flat
on his goggles into the snow and expired on the hill. DOH
was recorded. Retep will be post humoursly remembered by family
and Friends. His life accomplishments included but not limited
to the following: 2,832 Ski Days (9.4% of total lifetime days)
28,324 Ski runs 283 1st place wins 19,826,800 Vertical ft skied
in 72 years participating 2,620 days sailing in 78 years participating
(8.7% of total lifetime days) 1,310 regatta's entered 262 1st place
finishes 69 golf days (note: started in May 24th, 2006) handicap
44 2,400,435 ft (454 miles) 131.343 leagues swam in lifetime
60,010 charitable good deeds Note: Statistics supplied by the
