Born on
October 8, 1938 in Toronto, Ontario. Attended Saint Peter's Choir
School, Saint Michael's College H.S., University of Toronto. Graduated
from Assumption University of Windsor and later received his
Masters of Education from O.I.S.E. Teaching career included:
Michael Power H.S., New Toronto H.S., Stayner C.I., Collingwood C.I.
until his retirement in 1993. Teacher, coach, mentor, community
leader, J.L. generously shared his passion for people. John's
family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 18 from 2-4 p.m.
and 7-9 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home, 82 Pine Street, Collingwood.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Catholic Church,
63 Elgin Street, Collingwood. Interment at Saint Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation,
Foster Parents Plan, Collingwood General and Marine Hospital
are suggested. Thanks to the specialized talents of all the medical
staff, including Doctors

London.
