Joyce Darlene KEYES formerly of R.R.#3 Walkerton passed away at Hanover Care Centre, Hanover on Thursday, October 19th, 2006 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Glen KEYES (1990.) Survived by her family; Kathy KROEPLIN and her husband Bernard of R.R.#3 Walkerton, John KEYES and his wife Linda of Ariss, Patricia WEISS of Port Elgin, Jim KEYES and his wife Marlene of Walkerton and Ted KEYES of R.R.#3 Walkerton. Missed by grandchildren Michelle DONNELLY (Paul), Shawn KROEPLIN (Jenna), Elisha WEISS, Jeremy WEISS and great-granddaughter Emma-Lee KROEPLIN. Dear sister of John McALLISTER of Brockville, Bill McALISTER and his wife May of London and Karen BULMER of Waterdown. Predeceased by her parents, John McALISTER and Inez ROULSTON, son Steven (1974,) infant sister Lorraine and sister-in-law Angele McALLISTER. Visitation at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Teeswater (4 Clinton St. S., 519-392-6011) Saturday evening from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at London Health Sciences Centre University Campus on Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Ralph Gordon ADAM/ADAMS, of Ingersoll, in his 87th year. Survived by his beloved wife Ruth (BERDAN) ADAM/ADAMS, his son Gordon and his wife Pat of Ingersoll, and his daughters Bonita MAGILL and her husband Bob of London, and Donna McGINNIS and her husband Jerry of Ingersoll and son-in-law Steven HOLBROOK of Elkford, British Columbia. Much loved Grandpa of Karen and Byron STOYLES of Montreal, Kathy ADAM/ADAMS and Chris SPENCER of Mansfield, Lisa MAGILL and Rex HARVEY of Toronto, Laura MAGILL of London, Eric HOLBROOK and Jen BYWAY of Thamesford, Adam HOLBROOK of Alberta, Justin and Brian McGINNIS of Ingersoll, and great-grandpa of Lauren and Kaelyn STOYLES of Montreal. Also survived by his sister Shirley TREVORS and her husband Cerry and his brother Don and his wife Marjorie all of London, his sister-in-law Isabelle BERDAN of Simcoe and by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Ethel (GEORGE) ADAM/ADAMS of Putnam, his cherished daughter Diana HOLBROOK of Elkford, British Columbia, his brothers Russell and Ross, and his sister Dorothy KEYES all of London. Beloved wife of the late Ross BROWN and predeceased by a daughter Catherine BROOKS. Dear mother of Eileen GODDARD and George HENRY, Jim ANGUS and Claudette, Terry PORTER and Chris, David, Willy ANGUS and Elaine. Survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Loving mother of Sandy and Mike KILBREATH of Corunna, Doug and Debbie KEYES of Sarnia, and Beth and Rick BECKETT of Lighthouse Cove. Cherished grandmother of Joy and Steve, Jim and Renee, Shane and Donald, and Ashley and Adam. Great-grandmother of Austin and Nikki. Predeceased by her parents Wesley and Alice (BROOME) AGAR, and by sisters Dorothy McCLURE, and Donna MUSGROVE. KEYES, Robert Wyatt
Sadly, Robert Wyatt KEYES, born May 28, 1921, died peacefully on June 26, 2006 with family at his side. He was survived for one week by his loving wife of 59 years Roberta Jean KEYES (McQUEEN.) Survived by three loving children: son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Deborah; daughters Nancy and Barbara; and grandchildren Lauren and Douglas as well as family in Winnipeg, Manitoba; St. Catharines, Ontario; and California. Educated at the University of Manitoba (B. Commerce) and University of Toronto (M. Commerce), Bob held a number of different positions throughout his life including Chief Economist for Western Canada Steel and Cominco Canada. He was also active in teaching economics at Simon Fraser University. He was a veteran of World War 2. Throughout his life he was an avid reader, follower of political affairs and gardener, having a particular love for roses. At its peak, his garden contained several hundred varieties of rose bushes. He was very proud of his family and all their accomplishments. He bore his several years of increasing health problems with great dignity and courage. He was a gentleman's gentleman. His suffering is over and his soul now rests in peace. The family wishes to thank Doctor Jennifer WALKER and the Kiwanis Care Centre staff for their care. Special thanks to Vanja for all her generosity, care and attention. There will be a private celebration of his life at a later date. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the British Columbia Cancer Agency or the British Columbia Heart and Stroke Foundation.

KEYES, Roberta Jean (McQUEEN)
Sadly, Roberta Jean KEYES (McQUEEN), born August 17, 1922, died suddenly on July 3, 2006. She was predeceased one week by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Wyatt KEYES. Survived by three loving children: son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Deborah daughters Nancy and Barbara; and grandchildren Lauren and Douglas as well as family in Winnipeg, Manitoba; Gimli, Manitoba; and California. Educated at the University of Manitoba (M.D.) and University of Toronto (F.R.C.P.(C), Child and Adolescent Psychiatry), Roberta was the Director of Mental Health for the City of Vancouver for many years. Most recently she was a consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry for the North Shore Mental Health Department. Roberta was a caring individual who always put the needs of those around her ahead of herself. She was an avid reader, needlepoint worker and indoor gardener. She was a kind person and a gentle soul. Despite several years of increasing health problems her positive attitude and caring for others remained an example for all those who knew her. She touched many lives during her time with us and she will be greatly missed. Her suffering is over and her soul now rests in peace. The family wishes to thank Doctor Jennifer Walker, Home Care Nurses, Home Support staff and Royalty staff for their wonder ful and steadfast care. Special thanks to Vanja and Barbara '2' for their extra love and care. There will be a private celebration of her life at a later date. Edward (Ted) Blair KEYS, passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, April 30th, 2006 at the age of 60 years, with his loving wife and best friend of thirty-one years Patricia, and their two sons Michael and Ryan by his side. Ted is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kerrie (Jeff) and Tracy (Jay); grandchildren, Josh and Cody. He is also survived by the Hetherington family, Arthur and Peggy, Ann, Robert, Heather (Scott), and Elizabeth; his sisters, Barbara (Harry), Margaret (Gary). Ted will remain in the hearts of all his cherished Friends. Staying strong throughout his entire battle with cancer, he showed everyone an example of true strength and courage.
