CHARAL, George Theodore
Passed away suddenly on January 31st, 2006. Loving companion of Pauline (Peppy) CAUCH. Beloved father of Pat and Tim TIMMONS (Calgary), Elaine, Vicki and Sean SMITH (Peterborough), Dr. John and Dr. Christine (Mississauga.) Dear brother of Cleo HARAKAS (St. Catharines) and Marion KEHAYAS. He will be greatly missed by his extended family Christine and Richard BATES (Nashville) and Michele (Boston) and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may gather for visitation on Tuesday, February 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Cremation to follow. Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Sunday, September 24, 2006 Steven Norman SHEPHERD of Saint Thomas in his 37th year. Beloved husband of Dawn Ann (BELANGER) SHEPHERD. Loving father of Madison Danielle and Matthew James. Dear son of Don and Linda (RAPELJE) SHEPHERD of West Lorne. Beloved brother of Paul and Deanna of R.R.#1, Iona Station. Dear son-in-law of Jim and Marlene (KEHOE) BELANGER of Sparta. Brother-in-law of Dan and Melinda BELANGER and uncle of Bill and Michael all of Saint Thomas. Steven was very close to his many aunts, uncles and cousins especially Stewart and Marie MURRAY, Tom and Caroline ANDREWS, Teressa Dawn and Mike BELANGER. Predeceased by his grandparents Norman (August 2006) and Mary RAPELJE, Rhea BELANGER, Fred BELANGER, Mike and Doreen KEHOE and Uncle Mike BELANGER. Steven was medically retired from Ford Motor Company. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton Street, Dutton Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. TRUDGEN, Shelia (née MALONEY)
A Resident of R.R.#2 Blenheim, Shelia TRUDGEN passed away at her home on Saturday, November 25th, 2006 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of William (Bill) TRUDGEN. Born in Delhi, Ontario, daughter of the late Thomas and Irene (MUDGE) MALONEY. Dear mother of Annette KEHOE and her husband Bernie of Smith Falls, and Sharon CRONE and Simon SANSOM of Chatham. Grandmother of Danielle BROWN and her husband Aaron of North Gore, Sarah KEHOE of Smith Falls, Richard CRONE and partner Consuela KALINOWSKI of Blenheim, and Crystal CRONE and partner Justin LEGUE of Chatham. Great-grandmother of Ethan, Donté, and Kimberley. Sister of Jullian and Ralph HAZELSWARTZ of Virginia and sister-in-law of Cliff and Linda TRUDGEN of R.R.#2 Blenheim, and Trudie TRUDGEN of Aylmer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Morpeth Community Centre, 12579 Talbot Trail, Morpeth on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 1: 00 p.m. with Pastor Allan McINTYRE officiating. Interment in Trinity Cemetery, Howard Township. An Irish Wake will follow at the Morpeth Community Centre. McILWRAITH, Kenneth Douglas
On Monday, September 11, 2006, after a brief illness in his 90th year. Born in Toronto in 1917, younger son of William Norman and Ruby (SOMERVILLE) McILWRAITH. A graduate of Cambridge University, he joined the British Army, and served in the Middle East and Norway. After the war, he returned to Canada, joined the Department of External Affairs as a Foreign Service officer with postings in Geneva, Tokyo, Paris and Oslo. Pre-deceased by his wife Ruth (née KEHOE) and brother William Gordon. Step-father of Deirdre and Darragh, father of Mary and Sheila BEINGESSNER. Grandfather of Julia, Sonia and Alexis BEINGESSNER. Brother-in-law of Patricia (née BRIGHTMAN) and uncle of Margaret (Chris) WILLIAM, Peter (Catherine), and Richard, all in England. We will remember him as a gentle man, honourable and generous, with a keen appreciation for all sports, but especially the game of golf. Private funeral. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. A Reception will be held at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Gatineau, Sunday, September 17, 2-5 p.m.

GRACE, Sister Anna Gertrude, CSJ (Mary Gertrude GRACE)
Sister Anna Gertrude entered into her eternal rest at Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough, Ontario on November 15th 2006, in her 73rd year of religious life. She was the daughter of the late Martin Sylvester GRACE of Arnprior, Ontario and his wife Theresa Jane McCAFFERY of Perth, Ontario. Besides the members of her religious community Sister Anna Gertrude leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and cousins in the Ottawa region, Niagara Falls and Scotland. She is predeceased by her brother Harold and her sisters Ursula (Mrs. H. KEHOE,) Helen (Mrs. P.A. BUTTERWORTH) and Kathryn (Mrs. T.J. DALEY.) Sister Anna Gertrude received her education in Ottawa. She taught music, choir and organ in Cobourg, Wainwright, Lindsay, Ottawa, Almonte and Mount Saint_Joseph in Peterborough. Sister served as Superior in Cobourg before returning to Mount Saint_Joseph in 1993 where she continued in her music ministry for several years. Visitation in the chapel of Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough will be held on Friday, November 17th from 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough on Saturday, November 18th at 10: 30 a.m. Interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Arrangements are with Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough.
