What more is there to say,
Except we wish with all our hearts,
That you were here today.
We remember your smile.
We remember your laugh.
We remember the touch of your face.
We remember your hugs.
There is not a day that goes by
Where one of us doesn't say…..remember when
You would be proud that the values of respect, Friendship, family,

REYNOLDS,
David
Donald
Of Saint Thomas, passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre,
Victoria Campus, Westminster Site on Monday, September 25, 2006
in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Beryl Ann
(HALL)
of Saskatchewan, father to James and his wife Gail, Jacqueline,
and Bill and his wife Cindy. Sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren
Leslie, Kristen, Michael, Breanne, Patrick, Mike, Matthew and
Sara. In 1983 he remarried and is survived by his wife Erika.
Brother of Jessie
ROSS, Bob
REYNOLDS and the late Sherry
KEARY.
He was born (1924) in Innisfail, Alberta, spent his early years
in the Caribou Mountains of British Columbia and grew up in the
Kawartha region of eastern Ontario. During the Second World War,
he served several years with the Royal Canadian Air Force in
Burma, flying with the storied "31 Squadron" of the Royal Air
Force. After settling in Saint Thomas, he served as Captain, Paymaster
and Financial Officer at the Elgin Regiment. He pursued his passion
for flying at the Saint Thomas Municipal Airport, served on the
Saint Thomas Council for Airport Re-development Committee and was
a familiar personality and friend to many flying enthusiasts
for over 25 years. At 70 years of age, he traded his "wings"
for an active involvement with the Elgin Model Railway Association,
where he developed his skill for detailed model construction.
On several occasions he enjoyed hosting other model railroaders
by displaying his authentic 1890's set-up of steam-powered trains
running in western Canadian towns. His business career, which
spanned nearly 40 years, began with the Bank of Montreal in Saint Thomas
and continued for over 30 years as Secretary Treasurer and Chief
Financial Officer of Brown Fintube Limited. During this time
he was responsible for fiscally steering the company through
both acquisitions and mergers with larger U.S. based organizations.
He was ahead of his time in realizing the benefits that came,
for both the local work force and the Saint Thomas community, from
having home-grown executives manage local companies. He always
spoke fondly of his fellow employees and was proud of their accomplishments
together. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home,
118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Friday, September 29th from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held Saturday
at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Holy Angels' Cemetery, followed by
a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 410, Port Stanley.

of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.

In loving memory of our dear brother, Wayne, who left us November 7,
Remember him with a smile today,
He was not one for tears,
Reflect instead on memories
Of all the happy years.
Recall to mind the way he spoke
And all the things he said
His strength, his stance, the way he walked
Remember these instead.
The good advice he'd give us
His eyes that shone with laughter
So much of him will never die
But live on ever after
As we loved you, so we miss you
In our memory you are near
Loved, remembered, longed for always
Bringing many a silent tear.
