On Thursday, September 28, 2006 Willy AKEY (née OLIE) passed away in her 63rd year, resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Beloved mother of David AKEY (wife Lisa) of Kitchener, Darren AKEY (wife Melissa) of Stratford, Derek AKEY of Victoria, British Columbia and Margaret VREUGDENHIL- BEAUCLERC (husband Ken) of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by her mother Sadie OLIE of London and predeceased by her father Dirk (1993). Loving grandmother of Beau; Ema, Owen, Keira; Connor, Avery and Spencer. Dear sister of Helen OLIE, twin-sister Cora THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (husband Lloyd) and Elly JAKL (husband Andy) all of London. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. (visitation one hour prior). Interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery.

At Bluewater Health - Mitton St. Site, Sarnia, on Sunday, April 2nd, 2006, Dorothy Jean O'REILLY, age 81, loving wife of the late Irwin O'REILLY (1984.) She will be sadly missed by her children Evelyn WHITE/WHYTE, Barb JAKOBSEN (Bert), Sharon LONG (Allan), Dorothy GOODMAN (Don) and Bill SAVOIS and daughter-in-law Carol O'REILLY. 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grand_son and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her son Dave O'REILLY (2003) and her son-in-law Ralph WHITE/WHYTE (2000). She was an avid bowler and dart player and a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association - 403 Wing. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6th at 11: 00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday between the hours of 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The Royal Canadian Air Force Association - #403 Wing, will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 6: 30 p.m. Memorial gifts to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. SHAW, Bill
The family of Bill SHAW, Ancaster Ontario, sadly announce his passing after a brief illness at the age of 54. He was surrounded by his family and supported by staff at Henderson Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda (JAKOBSEN,) with whom he shared his passion for sailing and the outdoors. Bill was the proud father of three wonderful children, Annie, Nick, and Zack who fondly remember countless adventures with their dad. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Al and Joan SHAW, parents-in-law Peter and Grete JAKOBSEN, siblings Joanne, Janet, Bob and Dorothy, and sister-in-law Lis. Bill touched the lives of many including nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law, Friends and colleagues. Throughout his career Bill has proven himself a visionary of software solutions, and most recently was founder and president of Ivara Corporation. Throughout his lifetime Bill's strength and determination was an inspiration to all, and resulted in many personal achievements. Bill was most proud of the national recognition he earned in competitive 10 K running. Recently Bill and his family sailed in some beautiful locations, and his dream was to sail around the world. Bill, Windward is waiting. The wind is behind you, so sail into the mist in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program, or a charity of your choice. On Monday, February 13, 2006, passed away peacefully at Wawel Villa in his 91st year. Predeceased by his wife Bernice, beloved father of John and his wife Sharon. Bill is survived by his sister Apolonia JAKUBOCZYK of Detroit, Michigan, and his brother Marion (Aniela) of Mississauga. Lovingly remembered by extended family in Canada and Poland. Bill was a long time resident of Kingston, Ontario where he prospered as a small business owner. He will also be remembered by the many he helped in making their transition as new immigrants from Poland to putting down roots in Canada. Celebrated her 101st birthday November 21st, 2006, departed this life on December 20th to be with her Lord and Saviour and to join her husband Frederick who predeceased her in 2001, very happily married for 73 years. Marjorie was with Canon Michael BIRD, St Luke's Anglican, Burlington when she died peacefully, having just received communion and prayers with him. Born 1905, Kendal, Westmoreland to Sarah Anne FLETCHER and Alfred THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, dearly loved mother of Lloyd Frederick GOWER (Linda,) Cambridge, Marilyn Anne CARR (David) Montreal, Diane Gower DENT (Peter) Hamilton, grandmother/Nana to 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, Geoffrey CARR (Judy) Lucas, Adam; John CARR (Madeleine) - David, Gabrielle, Jonathan; Andrew CARR (Pamela) - Allysha, Scott, Averly Anne, Benjamin Frederick; Diane Adèle LOUALI (Farid) - Anissa, Miriam; Michele GOWER (Michael HART), Michael; Melanie PERRIMAN (Les) Meaghan, Jessica and Jennifer (David) HADDON - Benjamin Peter, Timothy; Ashley DENT; Rebecca DENT (Greg JAKUBOWSKI). Marjorie, second of four children, is survived by her youngest brother, Lister THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. At Marjorie's 100th birthday celebration, Bishop Ralph SPENCE praised Marjorie as a woman of faith, a spirited lady of integrity and joy for whom family was her life. Marjorie was involved in volunteer activities, Toronto: Women's Auxiliary St. Clement's Anglican Church, Big Sisters; Hill Circle and the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire. Sincere thanks to all who made life more comfortable for Marjorie during her last years. A private family service of committal for cremation was held. Memorial service and burial in the family plot at Saint_John's Norway, Toronto will take place in the spring. Marjorie would have asked that you do a good deed in her memory. Dear sister-in-law of Marion McFADDEN of London; and Marion McFADDEN and Eileen McFADDEN of Alliston. Also loved by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. LEWIS was the daughter of the late Henrietta CROSBIE and Freeman E. McFADDEN. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Franklin E.
