JAGELEWSKI, Joseph M.
Jospeh M. JAGELEWSKI, of Walkerton, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Saturday, September 30, 2006 in his 85th year. Loving father of Ann JAGELEWSKI and her husband Gord TAILOR/TAYLOR of R.R.#4 Kincardine and Carol and her husband Norbert SPITZIG of Mildmay. Joe will be missed by his grand children, Kevin, Kenny and Kurtis SPITZIG; step-grandchildren, Chirstopher, Kimberly, Suzanne, Vicky and Caroline and eleven step-great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his wife Grace, brother Raymond and his parents, John and Rose (PLUSKOTA) JAGELEWSKI. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7: 30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 8: 45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Internent in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton. Memorial donations to the Alzeimer Society of Canada or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

KONING, Anne (September 22, 1931-March 31, 2006)
Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 74, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Alphen a.d. Rijn, Netherlands in 1931, immigrated to Canada in 1954 where she worked as a school teacher and later as a nurse/head nurse at Toronto Western Hospital, ending her career as a Victorian Order of Nurses nurse in East York. A loving aunt to Bernice ENGLAND, Harriet SHERMAN, Sarah ALBANO, John KONING, Ruth SAYNOR and David KONING, she is survived by Zwier KONING, Antonia KONING (wife of the late John KONING,) Tineke HEEMSKERK, Tom KONING and Janke DE JAGER. She was a committed member of the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church and will be fondly remembered by her family, Friends and congregation. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church located on 11251 Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church on Monday, April 3rd at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Elgin Mills Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to the palliative care team in York Region for their compassion and supportive care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Canadian Reformed Church for their work in Papua New Guinea.

Passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on March 18th, 2006. Predeceased by Stella, his beloved wife of 53 years. Loving father of Donna and her husband Peter, Barbara and her husband Nick and Mira. Adored Dziadzia of Amanda, Marlena, Nicholas, Vanessa, Anthony and Daniel. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Poland. The family will receive relatives and Friends at R.S. At the age of 45 years, on June 17, 2006, at Toronto East General Hospital, after a courageous two and a half year battle against cancer. Patrick leaves his beloved wife Réjane WILSON of Toronto. Precious son of Betty and Harold McDONAGH of St. Catharines. Cherished son-in-law of Robert and Pauline WILSON of Toronto. Much loved brother of Mary JAGO of Prince George, British Columbia and her husband Charles and of Linda DELLA ROSSA of Niagara-on-the-Lake and her husband Mike. Wonderful uncle to David, his wife Eun Hye, Noël and Paul JAGO and Steve and Carolyn DELLA ROSSA. Great uncle to Ji Won. Thanks to Friends and hospital staff for their care and support. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20. Of Saint Thomas passed away at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Continuing Care Centre on Thursday, March 9, 2006, in his 86th year. Husband of the late Doris (JAGOE) KITCHENHAM (1994.) Father of Kerry KITCHENHAM of Paisley, Kevin KITCHENHAM of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Aly HEBB of London. Grandfather of Cameron WHITE/WHYTE and Curtis HEBB, both of London. Also survived by son-in-law, Geoff HEBB of Saint Thomas, sister-in-law, Verna JAGOE of Kenora and several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his own immediate family, having been predeceased by sisters, Hilda BEER and Ivy POTTICARY and brothers, Frederick and Harry KITCHENHAM. Born in Saint Thomas, July 11, 1920, the son of the late John and Lilly (GILLINGHAM) KITCHENHAM. Alan was a retired Sears Canada sales manager and a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Saint Thomas. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11: 00 a.m. Following cremation, interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Dear mother of Walter (Marg) CORMIER of Poplar Hill, Robert (Debbie) CORMIER of Delaware and Diane (Hank) VANDERVELDEN of Strathroy. Dear grandmother of Teresa, Sandra, Gordon, Adelle and Alison. Great-grandmother of Gage, Serenity and Marcus. Remembered by sister Dorothy SCOTT of Bathurst, New Brunswick, and predeceased by brother Floyd JAGOE and sister Alice HICKS. POORTER, Frits (1926-2006)
1st Lieutenant Royal Dutch Marines. After surviving a P.O.W. camp at age 16 for three years and Legionnaires disease eight years ago, Frits sadly succumbed to cancer in his 80th year on Friday, January 27, 2006. Frits was born and raised in Indonesia and the Netherlands and after marrying Marie, his wife of fifty years, settled in his beloved homeland Canada. Devoted father of Jacqueline (Matthew), Rolph (Andrea), Jennifer (Brian) and Yvette (Johannes). Proud Opa to Drew, Tori and Rece VAN DER JAGT Dane, Erika and Sonya POORTER; Avalon, Nelson and Nigel DOLEMAN. Dear brother to Telly, Winnie, Hedy (Fred), Ronald (Lies) and sister-in-law Riete in Holland. The family would like to acknowledge the support of Friends and neighbours, as well as Dr. MANNO and the devoted care by the staff of Ian Anderson Hospice. After cremation, a Mass will be celebrated in his honour at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 10: 30 a.m., with a private reception to follow at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr Street, 905-844-2600).
