Walkerton, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion
Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7: 30 p.m.
followed by Parish Prayers at 8: 45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be
held on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. at Sacred Heart
Church, Walkerton. Internent in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.

Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 74, after a courageous
battle with cancer. Born in Alphen a.d. Rijn, Netherlands in
1931, immigrated to Canada in 1954 where she worked as a school
teacher and later as a nurse/head nurse at Toronto Western Hospital,
ending her career as a Victorian Order of Nurses nurse in East
York. A loving aunt to Bernice

member of the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church and will be fondly
remembered by her family, Friends and congregation. Visitation
will be held on Sunday, April 2 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bethel Canadian
Reformed Church located on 11251 Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill,
Ontario. Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Canadian
Reformed Church on Monday, April 3rd at 11: 00 a.m. Interment
to follow at the Elgin Mills Cemetery. The family would like
to express their thanks to the palliative care team in York Region
for their compassion and supportive care. In lieu of flowers,

for their work in Papua New Guinea.

2006. Predeceased by Stella, his beloved wife of 53 years. Loving

Vanessa, Anthony and Daniel. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces

Frits (1926-2006)
1st Lieutenant Royal Dutch Marines. After surviving a P.O.W.
camp at age 16 for three years and Legionnaires disease eight
years ago, Frits sadly succumbed to cancer in his 80th year on
Friday, January 27, 2006. Frits was born and raised in Indonesia
and the Netherlands and after marrying Marie, his wife of fifty
years, settled in his beloved homeland Canada. Devoted father
of Jacqueline (Matthew), Rolph (Andrea), Jennifer (Brian) and
