GIBERSON, Garfield Manzer
On Sunday, December 3rd, 2006, Garfield Manzer GIBERSON, age 89 of Sarnia passed away at Marshall Manor in Sarnia. Loving husband of the late Eva (LICKFOLD) GIBERSON (1997,) dear father of daughters Diane GIBBONS (Max FREER) of Sarnia, Carol GIBERSON of Oakville and Maureen ISREALS (Fred) of London and sons Barry GIBERSON (Diane) of Mooretown and Brian GIBERSON (Janet) of Unionville, grandfather of Carla BOLTON (Paul,) Justine LOADER (David,) Michael ISBER (Carol), Aaron ISBER, Scott COOLMAN (Jodie), Amy LANDERS (Paul,) Mark GIBERSON, Dale GIBERSON, Laura GIBERSON and Nicole GIBERSON, great-grandfather of Julie and Jenna BOLTON, Tyson and Victoria PARKER, Tatum LOADER, Holly ISBER, Madison COOLMAN and Benjamin and Jacquelyn LANDERS, brother of Kenneth (Pete) GIBERSON, Wendel GIBERSON, Fred GIBERSON and Vernon GIBERSON. He was predeceased by his father Frank Garfieled GIBERSON (1958,) his mother Helen Estella (WRIGHT) GIBERSON (1983,) sisters Frances and Madeline GIBERSON and brothers John, Arthur and Burton GIBERSON. Several nieces, nephews and in-laws also survive. Mr. GIBERSON was a veteran of World War 2 and a Petrolia resident for many years before moving to Sarnia. Funeral services will be held from the D.J. Robb Funeral Home, (102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia, Ontario, N7T 5W9) on Wednesday, December 6th at 1: 00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillsdale Cemetery in Petrolia. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday between the hours of 2: 00-4:00 and 7: 00-9:00 p.m. Memorial gifts to Pathways Health Center for Children (1240 Murphy Rd., Sarnia, Ontario., N7S 2Y6) would be appreciated by the family. MORLEY, Desmond Eric
Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Wednesday, July 19th, 2006 Desmond Eric MORLEY of London in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Eileen Hilda MORLEY. Dear father of Douglas MORELY and his wife Marie-Paule of Kapuskasing; Carolyn HENNESSY and her husband Rick of Barrie; Lorraine ISBISTER and her husband Bob of Markham; Donna ROBERTSON and her husband Jim of Cobourg and Sheila DAVIES and her husband Ken of London. Dear grandfather of Steven, Andrea, Sean, Kevin, Pamela, Scot, Todd, Keefer, Joshua and Tylere. Dear brother of Leonard MORLEY and his wife Barb of Byron; Albert MORELY and his wife Catherine of Montreal and Gloria SMITH and her husband Ken of Markham. Predeceased by his parents Janet and Sydney and his brothers Lawrence and Earl and his sister Theresa. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood Hospital for all their care and attention. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Saint_James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London on Monday, July 24th, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Doctor Keith FLEMING/FLEMMING officiating. A private family inurnment of cremated remains will be held in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, 1630 Lawrence Avenue West, Suite 104, Toronto, Ontario M6L 1C5 or the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London, Ontario N6C 2R6. BARNES, Margaret Willmot (formerly WIGLE, née HOLTON)
92 Passed away peacefully March 27, 2006 in Kentville, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late Vera Jean (SHAMBROOK) and Mark Baldwin HOLTON of Hamilton, Ontario. She is survived by her brother Charles C. HOLTON and predeceased by her siblings Elizabeth DRURY, Jane FITZGERALD- MOORE and Mark HOLTON. Also predeceased by her husbands, Frederick E. WIGLE and William Rolph BARNES and her son Gerald Ernest WIGLE. She is lovingly remembered by her stepchildren and their families, William and Gina BARNES, Rennie and Howard ARSENAULT, Peter and Elizabeth BARNES and Bruce and Elizabeth BARNES. Also by her daughter-in-law Catharine BARCLAY and her daughter Margot and Malcolm ISBISTER and their families. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory (Canadian Cancer Society, Salvation Army) would be gratefully appreciated. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration will take place in Waterdown, Ontario.
