My Papa
Though shock has past
An empty hole
That you once filled Lingers
Laughing, caring, sharing Joyful, vivid memories
Locked in our hearts forever
Time does not heal all
A year has gone since last you stood
Earth touching your feet
And still pain is felt
Let your body sleep
For your soul lives on
We wish it wasn't true
For it wasn't true
For it will be long until We meet again, dear Papa
