Peacefully at her residence on Friday January 6, 2006. Frieda (HUEBLER) MEIHOFENER of London in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Heinz MEIHOFENER. Dear mother of Renate and Bill BROWN of Leduc, Alberta. Loving Oma of Karen BROWN and Andrea and Mark SERETNY all of Alberta. Also survived by 3 brothers Walter, Willi and Klaus of Hamburg, Germany. Sadly missed by her friend George and other close Friends. Friends will be received by the#1 hour prior to the complete funeral service to be held on Tuesday, January 10th at 1 p.m. in the chapel of A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Cremation to follow. Dear mother of Kathy and her husband John BENJAMIN of Salford, Phillip of Alberta, Paula and her husband Marco HUEGIN of Verschoyle, Joseph and his wife Christine of Embro, Patricia and her husband Mark COWAN of Tillsonburg and Bill and his wife Denise of Tillsonburg. Dear mother-in-law of Sylvia KIRWIN of Salford. Dear sister of Kevin O'REILLY and his wife Blanche of Kitchener and Bernard O'REILLY and his wife Jean of Point Claire, Quebec. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Predeceased by one son Jerry (1994). Peacefully, at Summit Place, in Owen Sound on Tuesday, January 24th, 2006. Martha Erna Magdalena HUENEMOERDER, of Owen Sound, and formerly of the Hanover area, in her 72nd year. Dear sister of Elsie CRISPIN, of Brantford. Predeceased by her parents, Ezra and Wilhelmina HUENEMOERDER and an infant sister, Hilda. Martha will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside Service and interment of cremated remains will take place in the family plot in Hanover Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Brian E. WATSON, Margaret Elizabeth (née HUESTON) (1914-2006)
Died peacefully on Sunday April 30, 2006 at Toronto East General Hospital. The daughter of Henry and Edith HUESTON, she was born February 19, 1914 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan where her father published the Herald. She moved with her family in 1921 to Sarnia, Ontario where he published the Sarnia Observer until selling it and several others to Roy Thomson in 1944. She was graduated from Havergal College in the early 1930s and took further training at Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston. She married Neal M. WATSON in 1945 after he was repatriated from a German Prisoner of War Camp in a health related exchange before the end of the war. He had been captured in the Dieppe Raid of August 19, 1942. He worked in the accounting department of Imperial Oil Limited in Sarnia, Toronto and New York City. He died in 1987. She is survived by her brother Arthur HUESTON of Aylmer, Ontario and his children Jane HUESTON, John HUESTON and Joan HUESTON; brother Edward HUESTON of London, Ontario and his children Connie HUESTON and Heather BIDUKE; and nephew Harry NEALE and neice Patricia CURRIE. She was predeceased by her brother Bill in 1969. A family graveside memorial service will be held in Sarnia.

Dear mother of Anne and Brian JACQUES, Rob and Cindy MENZIES, John and Denise MENZIES and David and Leanne MENZIES all of Petrolia and Ted and Darcy MENZIES of Hamilton. Dear grandmother of Bill KONCOVY, Steven and Jen KONCOVY, Rebecca and Randy NAPPER, Jen JACQUES and Joel WEED, Matt, Alex, Heather, Eric, Sara, Nicole, Courtney, Jamie and Scott MENZIES and Denise and Brian BUGLER, and Eric and Christine HUET and the late Jordan MENZIES. Mrs. MENZIES served her community with her involvement with the Christ Anglican Church, the C.E.E. Hospital Auxiliary, the Margaret Stokes Chapter of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire, a founding member of Petrolia Minor Hockey Mothers, an avid supporter of Petrolia Minor Sports and as the founder and coordinator for 25 years of the community's Christmas for Everyone program. Visitors will be received on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia. The funeral service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Petrolia on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Brian SHOESMITH officiating.
