HOHENADEL, Mary Frances (formerly
WALLER, née
GILLEN)
Passed away peacefully, at home with family on July 6, 2006.
She will be dearly missed by her five children, Donald
WALLER
and his wife Cathy
WALLER, Dorothy
WALLER, Vy
WALLER and her
husband Arnold
DYCK,
Cindy
WALLER and Mary
WALLER. She will also
be missed by her grandchildren and some great-grandchildren and
her loyal step son William
HOHENADEL.
Frances was born and raised
in Markdale, Ontario where some extended family still reside.
She lived most of her adult life in Guelph, where she raised
her children, worked full time and nursed her ailing first husband
Donald WALLER who died in 1975. She married Edward
HOHENADEL
and lived many happy years until his death in 1994. Frances was
most known for her helpfulness to the community of homes where
she lived. She was the neighbour that was ready to lend a helping
hand and she worked closely and happily with Mr. Gert
PATSCH.
She was an avid gardener and loved to share her love of plants
with others. In respecting her wishes there will be a small family
gathering in her honour. Friends are welcomed to send a memorial
donation to The Canadian Cancer Society or plant a tree in her
memory. The family would like to thank all of Frances's Friends
and neighbours who enriched her life, with a special thanks to
those who assisted her in these last few months. She appreciated
your laughter and kind words.
