Passed peacefully away in the presence of family at the Saint
John Regional Hospital. David was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick,
and is predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary

RIDEOUT, sister Mary, and brothers Hallam, Hurlow, and Frank.
Survived by brothers and sisters Ernest, Walker, Samuel, Elizabeth,
Roberta and Donald. Remembered lovingly by his wife Rosalita
his children Arthur (Mary), Michele (Dan), Karen (Stephen), Andrea
and Jason; and his grandchildren Maria, Elizabeth, James, Andrew,
Jane, Thomas, Lauren and Caelan. He started his medical career
as a family doctor in Sussex, New Brunswick. Then specializing
in anesthesiology at the University of Toronto, he was a devoted
member of the operating team for 30 years in Saint John, New
Brunswick and Sudbury, Ontario. A Funeral service was held on
Sunday April 23, 2006 in Saint John, New Brunswick. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian
Liver Foundation and/or the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint
John
Regional

JAMES spent his
life making music. He displayed clear talent with his toy piano
as a five year old child and within ten years was providing musical
accompaniment in a London cinema at the twilight of the silent
era. After serving in the entertainment division in the Royal
Air Force during World War 2, he began his twenty year association
with the British Broadcasting Corporation, performing on more
than a thousand broadcasts. He went on to conduct, compose and
accompany many well known entertainers. His greatest accomplishment
was as the sole music associate to the late Sir Charles
CHAPLIN.
He emigrated to Canada in 1988 with his wife Phyllis where he
published his autobiography entitled: Making Music with Charlie

Jack BURK/BURKE died at home in peace, after fighting cancer for many
years with dignity and courage. He was the much loved husband
of Winifred; cherished father of Sandra, Jacqueline, Patrice

proud Poppa of Tanya (Kevin
LAVIE), Jackson, Tara, Taylor, Jamie
and John and joyful, great-grandfather of Lexa and Liam. Eldest
brother of Frank (Blanche), Shirley, Vern (Marcella) and Larry
(Margaret Rose). He was born October 10, 1924 in Erieau, Ontario
and was the son of Vera and Glen

Jack was a distinguished
veteran of World War 2, Royal Canadian Air Force officer, Lancaster
428 Ghost Squadron. He bravely joined at the young age of sixteen
and returned with his beloved partner for life, Winifred
PROCTER.
Jack was the original "good guy", his huge smile and generous
spirit will live on in many hearts. During his life Jack was
Director of Transport for Miracle Food Mart, Past President of
the Windsor Transportation Club, Past Chairman of the Essex-Kent
District Canadian Industrial Traffic League. He loved life and
loved learning; as his body failed his mind remained strong,
he watched the news and did his crosswords until his last days.
His belief in heaven and God provided him with comfort and in
the end he welcomed the arms of his angel to carry him on. He
will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family. A private
family service will be held at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel,
