Peacefully, at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Sunday, January 15, 2006. In his 83rd year, the beloved husband of the late Jean Knox McGREGOR (née GORDON) for fifty-six loving years. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Lynne McGREGOR- SCHNURR and her husband John SCHNUUR. Loving grandfather of Jeanette and her husband Stephen SELPH, of Seattle, Washington, and Christopher SCHNUUR, of Windsor. Great-grandfather of Cedric and Madison SELPH. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Always remembered by his long time friend and “Best Man' in 1946, Alvin GORDON, of Alberta. Don taught at the old Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational Institute also serving as a guidance counsellor retiring in 1979. Don's long time memberships included the Grey Granite Curling Club, the Owen Sound Golf Club and fifty-eight years with the Royal Canadian Legion. Don served from 1939 to 1945 as a gunner in the army. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at Division Street United Church on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. Reverend Cathy HIRD officiating. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Owen Sound Branch #6 are requested to attend a memorial service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to either the Alzheimers's Society or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Cherished grandpa of Michelle (Brian) McKNIGHT, Tim (Allison) CHRETIEN, Rick (Tanya) CHRETIEN, Rob (Michelle) CHRETIEN, Sandra (Bob) JESSOP and Harvey (Trina) JESSOP. Passed away peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Thursday, September 21, 2006 in his 79th year. Harold was the beloved husband of the late Jean CRANE (née McTAVISH.) He was the loving father of Kenneth and his wife Barbara (WORTHINGTON) and David and his wife Patricia (BEAULIEU,) brother of John, Margaret CREWSON, Ottalyn WATSON and Evelyn CAREY, dear grandfather of William, Julia, Sarah and Bradley. Harold retired from the Ontario Provincial Police, Pembroke Detachment in 1986 and moved back to the area in 1994. Friends are invited to call at the Currie Funeral Home in Chatsworth for visitation on Saturday afternoon and evening 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., where the funeral service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Rev. It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Reg at his residence on Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Reginald "Reg" NASH of Woodstock in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Lorna E. (née HIRD) NASH for over 46 years. Dear brother of Doreen PARKER and her late husband Carl of Thornhill. Loved uncle of Carol BEEFORTH (Douglas) and their family; Michael, Mackenzie and Harrison, Cathy MacDONALD (Evan) and their family Thomas, Kate and Dylan, Michael PARKER (Lynn) and will be remembered by his special niece Monica HIRD. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Bertha NASH who Reg had worked with for many years at the family business of "Nash's Lunch" then becoming "Nash's Variety". Reg was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church, Woodstock and was a member of the First Baptist Church Choir for over 50 years. Reg will be sadly missed by his many Friends within the church and throughout the community. Reg was an avid photographer seen around town with his camera in hand and enjoyed feeding "his children" the ducks at Southside Park and looked forward to a friendly game of tennis every now and then. One of Reg's hobbies was collecting flags from around the world and would share his hobby with all who were interested by raising his flags in his backyard or displaying them at area functions. Charles E. Hirn, 77, of Bainbridge, OH died 8: 39 PM Friday, April 7, 2006.
He was born December 14, 1928 in Ross County, OH, the son of the late
Charles and Marjorie Smith Hirn. He is survived by 2 daughters, Melissa
"Missy" (Marty) Hirn-Pulliam of Bainbridge, OH and Julie Frisch of Ky. 4
grandchildren, Ki and Silas Pulliam and Callie and Sarah Frisch. He is also
survived by a cousin, Jack Matson of Chillicothe, OH. Chuck was an Army
veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge, OH and a
member of the Bainbridge Lodge 196 F and AM. He was also a retired farmer and
business owner. Funeral services were held 11 AM Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at
the Bainbridge United Methodist Church on the corner of 2nd and Maple
streets, with Pastor McClellan Nicholson Officiating. Burial followed in the
Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe, OH where the Ross County Honor Guard
performed a Military Graveside service. Visitation was from 4 to 7: 30 PM
Monday at the Church. Where there was a Masonic service following
visitation. If Friends would prefer, memorial contributions can be made to
the Ross County 4H Foundation, 475 Western Avenue, Chillicothe, OH 45601.

Taken tragically on September 29, 2006 at the age of 39. Cherished forever by his beloved Rossana WHISSELL, and her daughters Jessica and Leah BORTOLOTTI. Beloved son of Norman and Bobbie HIRST) NAGLIK and brother of Michael (Janet,) Andrea (Chris,) and Cathy. Grandson of Pearl and the late Robert HIRST and of the late John and Amelia NAGLIK. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and a nephew. Peter was dedicated to public service and was well known at Queen's Park and on Parliament Hill. He was a consummate professional, known as a gifted writer with a penetrating mind. Peter was also a loyal friend, always available with wise advice or a ready laugh, and a man of great conviction and strong faith. He will be remembered always by his many Friends for his great generosity, irrepressible spirit, and razor-sharp wit. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 4, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, Ontario, and on Thursday, October 5 from 9: 30-10:30 a.m. at Saint Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church.
