At London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, April 20th, 2006 after a lengthy illness and with his family at his side. Mike McEWEN of London in his 51st year. Beloved husband and true friend of Debbie (BATES) McEWEN. Loving dad of Erin and Craig both at home. son of Dorothy and the late Murray McEWEN, and son-in-law of Lena BATES and the late Jack BATES. Dear brother of Carolyn HIMBERT and her husband Herbert of Maple Ridge, British Columbia and the late Jane McEWEN. Cherished brother-in-law of Jim and Dolores BATES of Red Deer, Alberta, and Gary and Lynda SCHILBE of London. Also survived by his cousin Marilyn LANGSTAFF of Atlanta, Georgia and by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Monday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel on Tuesday, April 25th, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation and interment of ashes, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Suddenly on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the South Huron Hospital in his 53rd year. Beloved companion of Evelyn LEEK (née SALATER) and her children Ryan and Elizabeth. Loving brother of Kirk and Rick (Leslie). Loved uncle of Ravyn, Jamie and Tommy. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Gertrude HYNES. Wayne will also be missed by many family members in Newfoundland. Special thank you to Joan HODDINOTT, Gord HODDINOTT, Bell HIMES, aunt Maureen, uncle Pat, uncle Leo, uncle Jim, uncle Bud and uncle Cal.
