HODDINOTT, Margaret Betty (née BANFIELD,) M.A., M.E.S., Dipl. S.S.
At the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, November 9th, 2006. Margaret HODDINOTT, of Belleville, at the age of 79. Daughter of the late Frederick and Isabella BANFIELD. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Arthur Charles (Bud) HODDINOTT (2000.) Dear mother of Sarah HODDINOTT, John HODDINOTT and his wife Jane, all of Rockville, Maryland, U.S.A., and Philip HODDINOTT and his spouse Cindy ECCLES of Kingston. Predeceased by her sister Jean ALEXANDER. Loved by her grand_sons Philip and David HODDINOTT. Friends may call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in The Queen Of The Most Holy Rosary Church, Belleville, on Monday, November 13th, 2006 at 10: 00 a.m. Reverend Father John HIBBARD officiating. Cremation to follow. A private interment will take place at Saint_James Cemetery at a later date. A devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, Margaret was a tireless, long-time volunteer in organizations that served Belleville, Toronto and Canada. She was a Lieutenant in the Canadian Women's Army Corps and was awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Federation of University Women (Belleville Chapter) Scholarship Fund, the Children's Aid Society of Northumberland, or to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated. Peacefully on Monday, January 16th, 2006 in her 84th year at the Bloomington Cove Residence. Predeceased by loving husband of 59 years, Roy. Children James (Elaine), Alan (Biz) and Alyce will always fondly remember Mom. Loving Grandmother to Vanessa (Steve), Jenny (Glenn), Glenn (Megan), Brandon (Lucy), Adam, Turner, Taylor and Steven. A proud graduate of Moulton College, Barbara was best described as a going concern, and an avid sportswoman. She will be sadly missed by Friends in Muskoka and Florida. Private cremation. A Celebration of her life will take place in the Library of The Royal York Hotel on January 25, 2006 at 7: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Loved grandmother of Lianne JOHNSON of Woodstock, Lisa PERRY of Woodstock, Holly JOHNSON of Shelburne, Stephen MARTIN of Woodstock, Amanda JOHNSON and her husband Michael PARSEY of Adelaide, Australia, Neil COOPER and his wife Merja of Toronto, Paul and Michael JOHNSON both of Paradise, Newfoundland. Peacefully on Wednesday December 13, 2006. Most wonderful mother to her beloved children Peter and Anne and loving grandmother to Joanna, Jessica and Matthew. Will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Louise BAUMANN and son-in-law Leor MARGULIES. She also leaves dear nieces and nephews Manfred HUBERT (Helen,) James and Linda HUBERT and Kurt and Kelly-Anne HIBCHEN and dear sister-in-law Mary HIBCHEN. Will also be fondly remembered by many dear Friends. A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto on Friday December 15 at 11 a.m. with a reception in the church to follow.
