Aarne
Aarne went to be with his Lord and Saviour on January 15th, 2006
at the age of 95 years. God called home his faithful servant
who had served Him with all his heart his whole adult life. Devoted
husband to Impi
LYYDIA (deceased) for 67 years, father to Laura
(Matti), Paula (Timo), and Pentti. Pappa to 7 grandchildren and
17 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed until we meet
again. Also to be missed by all family and Friends in Finland,
Canada and Papau New Guinea. A Funeral Service in memory of Aarne
will be held at the York Visitation, Chapel and Reception Centre,
160 Beecroft Road (N. of Sheppard, W. of Yonge Street, 416-221-3404)
on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour
prior, from 12-1 p.m. A gathering to celebrate Aarne's life will
follow in the fellowship hall at the Finnish Pentecostal Church,
2570 Bayview Avenue, Toronto. The family would like to express
their gratitude to the staff of Suomi Koti Nursing Home for their
care, which made Aarne's last weeks peaceful and comfortable.
A special thanks to Dr.
HEKA, who cared for him the last several
years of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Suomi Koti Toronto Nursing Home, or the Foreign Missions
Fund of the Toronto Finnish Pentecostal Church. Cards will be
available at the Funeral Home.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Providence
Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Loving mother
of Patricia and her husband Stuart and John and his wife Kathleen.
Devoted grandmother of Ethan and Molly. Mom, you will remain
in our hearts always. The family will receive Friends at the
Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue
(south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13th.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at 10: 30 a.m.
in St. Monica's Church, 44 Broadway Avenue. If desired, donations
