battle with cancer. Born in Alphen a.d. Rijn, Netherlands in
1931, immigrated to Canada in 1954 where she worked as a school
teacher and later as a nurse/head nurse at Toronto Western Hospital,
ending her career as a Victorian Order of Nurses nurse in East

funeral service will be held on Thursday November 2, 2006 at
2 p.m. Interment Clinton Cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Heart
