Predeceased by grand_son Paul (1989). Bill will be deeply missed
by siblings and their families in the Netherlands. The family
wishes to thank all those who showed much care and compassion
in the 6 years of Bill's illness. Special thanks also to the
Community Care Access Centre and Home Support Workers who made
it possible for Bill to stay at home in his final days, as was

Gert was born in
Paynton, Saskatchewan and served with the Royal Canadian Air
Force in World War 2. She moved to Mitchell in 1952 where she
was a Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary,
a member of Trinity Anglican Church and the Mitchell Golf and
Country Club. Gert will be remembered for her zest for life,
great sense of humour and love of sports. Friends will be received
at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mitchell on
Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and
on Wednesday from 1: 00 p.m. until time of
funeral service at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Susan
MALPUS officiating.
Interment in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations
to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Trinity Anglican Church or
