Hospice, Burlington in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Sonia.
Devoted father of John, Michael (Lucky). Dido of much loved granddaughter
Sonia. Dear brother of Stanley (Eugenia). Uncle of Anastasia
(David), Orest, Andrey (Sally) and great uncle of Nicole and
Ryan. Cousin of Oresta, Fedyniak, Kalyna, Pomirko of Chicago,
Lesia (Woytek,)
PASTUSHAK of New York. Walter will be missed
by family in Ukraine and many Friends in the United States and
Europe. He played soccer for Ukrainian Tridents and was also
a boxing star winning the Golden Gloves Championship then being
chosen in 1956 to represent Canada in the Common Wealth Games.
At the age of 14 he was a member of the 1st Division of the Ukrainian
Army finding his brother Stan and parents in Innsbruk in 1947
then immigrated to Canada. Walter was a good friend to many and
will be missed by all. Friends will be received at the Neweduk
Funeral Home - "Mississauga Chapel", 1981 Dundas St. W., (1 block
east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with
Panachyda at 8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 22,
2006 at Saint Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (3625 Cawthra Rd.)
with Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Volodymyr Cemetery.

Age 81 years resident of Pinewood Court, Thunder Bay, passed
away peacefully at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre
on October 6, 2006. Born in Wakefield, England, she was raised
and educated in England, served in the British Armed Forces during
World War 2 and later married her husband Stuart Raymond
ROGERSON.
Both immigrated to Canada in 1957 with their first son Keith.
Both Stuart and Joan worked for many years in the restaurant/hospitality
business in southern Ontario before her husband Stuart's death
in 1979. Joan later moved with her two sons to Terrace Bay, Ontario
and worked at Birchwood Terrace Senior Citizens home as Social
Activities Coordinator until retirement. Joan remarried to Arthur
LEBLANC while living in Terrace Bay then moved to Schreiber,
Ontario. Joan was an active member of Saint_John's Anglican Church
in Schreiber playing the organ, and serving as lay Minister.

after a courageous battle with prostate cancer, Edwin passed
away peacefully, surrounded by his family, in the home he loved
so much. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 48 years,

was retired from the University of Windsor where he taught in
the physics department for 34 years after completing his PhD
at McMaster University. He went on to enjoy working as president
and past president of the Faculty Association in the few years
before retiring in 1993. Fueled by a loved for his family, his
music (Bach's St. Matthew's Passion was playing at the end) skiing,
sailing, jogging and long summers at the family cottage in beautiful
Bayfield on Lake Huron, Edwin had a vigorous, passionate and
long life. Donations to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation
of Canada gratefully accepted. Cremation has taken place. Visitation
