HANLEY, Peter (1939-2006)
Died suddenly while shoveling snow on Monday, November 27, 2006. Peter was known for his wonderful fun loving free spirit. He was an entrepreneur, with several successful businesses to his credit. Peter cared deeply for family, Friends, and pets. He was always available when needed. Peter is survived by his daughters and their families: Shannon McFADDEN, (Brian,) Christie LAMONTAGNE, Robert LAMONTAGNE; Kathleen WILTSEY, (Greg), Kirk, Kayla and Shawna. He is pre-deceased by his ex-wife Frances HANLEY, and daughter Corinne HANLEY- GUS. He will be greatly missed. Please do not send flowers, send donations in kind to the Humane Society. Peacefully, with his family at his side, on Friday, February 10, 2006, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Irene GUSE. Survived by his sister Glad CAMERON. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Sunday, May 21st, 2006 Haig HOWLEY in his 75th year. Haig will be remembered by all of his nieces, especially his niece Ollie MacQUEEN and his close Friends Tom GUSHUE (Adie) and their daughter Patricia. Predeceased by his sister Mary WAKEFIELD, Bernadine LOVETT and his brother George COUSINS. Cremation has taken place. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Beloved husband of Grace (HENDERSON) GUSTAVSEN for 57 years. Loving father of Preben (Lucie) GUSTAVSEN, Nancy (Michael) BORRIE, Sheila (Jim) FISHER and Lynda (Peter) Glumac. Cherished "Poppy" of Adrienne, Dana and Jac BORRIE; " Grandpa Bill" of Kata, Maya and Arden GLUMAC. Dear brother of Margaret ADAM/ADAMS and Betty (Don) LORDLY and brother-in-law of Herman (Rose) HENDERSON, Jessie HOVEY, Jackie (Arnold) HARE, Marjorie RILEY (Steve POLOS), Mona FRASER, Ann (Bruce) KIERSTEAD, Elouise (Del) MURPHY, Vera HENDERSON and Audrey ARSENAULT. Life-long friend of the Makepeace family. Devoted and loving companion of Alice MURRAY. A quiet, optimistic builder, gardener and fisherman of life, Bill will be remembered with love by his family and Friends. Cremation has taken place. Dear mother of Anne GUSTIN and Janet KROGER and her husband Herb all of London. Dear sister of Joyce EMMERSON and her husband George of Whitby and George JOHNSTON and his wife Darlene of Chatham. Predeceased by her sister Lois TERRY and her infant brother James JOHNSTON. Dear sister-in-law of Kingsley TERRY of Chatham. Also loved by her grandchildren, Krista WRIGHT and her husband Matt and Scott KROGER and his wife Nancy all of London and her great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Brooke WRIGHT. Suddenly, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, as the result of a motor vehicle accident, on Thursday, October 12, 2006, Jaclyn SZALKAI, of R.R.#5 Langton, at the age of 27. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on December 1, 1978. Jaclyn attended Valley Heights Secondary School in Langton; studied Art at Sheridan College in Oakville and Film Production at Federation College in Thunder Bay. She had a special love for all animals and enjoyed their affection and companionship. Jaclyn was a loved daughter of Steve and Diane (SOLGA) SZALKAI of R.R.#5 Langton. Dear sister of Diane and John GUSTIN, Saint Thomas; Rebecca SZALKAI, at home Steven SZALKAI, Virgil, Ontario. Loving granddaughter of Alex and Helen SOLGA, R.R.#1, Walsingham and Alex SZALKAI, R.R.#5 Langton and the late Rosalie SZALKAI (2004.)
