At his home in Southampton, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, September 17th, 2006, Kenneth SAWYER, at the age of 65 years. Husband of the former Janet HENDERSON. Father of Kent and his special friend Corina of Southampton, Deanna and her husband Mark PRENTICE of Barrie, and Lisa and her husband Robb GEE of London. He is also survived by his granddaughter Brianna. Brother of Dorothy and her husband Jack RILEY, Karen MATHESON, Linda McLAREN, RuthAnn and her husband John McCLINTON, Darlene and her husband Dennis NEILLY, June and her husband Doug CATTO, Bruce and his wife Sandi, and Douglas and his wife Jennifer. Brother-in-law of Marlene, Helen, Laura, and Joan and her husband Keith WEBB. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. After a very brief illness with cancer, Donald (Mr. D.) Raymond DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS, in his 75th year, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 16, 2006. son of the late Frederick and Hazel (GAMBLE) DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS, and late step-father Albert GAMBLE. Brother of Betty GEE of Otterville, Pat ANTLER of Brantford, Audrey PILGRIM (deceased) of Brantford, Ron GAMBLE of Godfrey, and Gary GAMBLE of Kitchener. Brother-in-law Larry PILGRIM and Uncle Arthur CHAPMAN of Brantford. Survived by several nieces and nephews and many Friends. A special mention to his staff from Middlesex Community Living, Strathroy, who helped him live independently over the past 20 years in the community of Strathroy, where Don called home. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family, Tim and Cindy BERKELEY and their children Emma and Owen BERKELEY. A celebration of Dons life will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2006 from 2-4 p.m. at the Mercantile Restaurant, Adelaide Road (Highway 81), Strathroy. Cremation has already taken place. I heard the voice of Jesus say, Come unto me and rest. Our beloved Mom, Oma and Great-Oma entered into that eternal rest at the Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday December 3, in her 91st year. Born in Zeeland, The Netherlands on November 3, 1916, she was daughter of the late Adrianna Marina GEELHOEDT and Hendrik Johannes HOEBË. She will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her children Ann WESTENDORP and her husband Herman of Cayuga Audrey HULST and her husband Rinus of Saint Thomas; Andries "Andy" and his wife Lynn of Cambridge; Hendrik "Henk" and his wife Thea of Union; Dianne PYPER and her husband Tom of Woodslee; John and his wife Lisa of Sioux Center, Iowa; and Peter and his wife Gwen of Port Stanley. Also sadly missed by 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, one sister and 3 sisters-in-law in The Netheralands and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Andy (2001), one son Dingeman Adriaan (1956), one sister and one brother in The Netherlands.
