HARTLEY, E. Dorothy
At Sumac Lodge, Sarnia on Monday, February 27, 2006, E. Dorothy HARTLEY, R.N., in her 88th year. Born in Tilbury, Ontario; daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth HARTLEY. A graduate of Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, London, Ontario; Dorothy enjoyed a long nursing career in London, Cleveland, Ohio, and Scarborough, Ontario. Survived by sister-in-law Frances HARTLEY of Tilbury. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Hazel MARLATT of Chatham, Beatrice FORD of Lambeth, Willard HARTLEY of London, Wayne HARTLEY of Strathroy, and Bonnie GAW of Corunna. Predeceased by sister Anna GRANTHAM, brothers James, Fred, Allan, Ivan; and nephews Glen, Roy and Kenneth HARTLEY. Cremation, with a memorial gathering and interment of ashes in Rosedale Cemetery, Tilbury at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. GAW, Mary Cecilia (née FINNEY)
Peacefully at the Quadrangle, Haverford Pennsylvania, on July 4th, 2006 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard G. GAW. Survived by four children Shannon BREININGER (Tom,) Chicago, Illinois; Ellen EMERT (John), New Caanan, Connecticut; Betsy SMIRGE (Stephen) Haverford, Pennsylvania; Susan McDONELL (James), Palo Alto, California. Cecile was the eldest daughter of Charles Butler FINNEY and Madeleine Teresa SHANNON. She was predeceased by sisters Eileen FINNEY, London, Catherine QUICK (Fred) London, Elizabeth DAVIDSON (Robert) Calgary, Alberta and Geraldine FINNEY of Chilliwack, British Columbia. She is survived by her youngest sister Noreen Finney ENGLISH (John.) Cecile was a graduate to the University of Western Ontario with an honors' degree in Business Administration and Secretary Science Class of 1933. She was a member of the Honour Society of University of Western Ontario, an association she treasured for many years. A celebration of Celcile's life and Mass was held at the Church of St. Scholastica in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on Friday July 7th, 2006 followed by a reception and luncheon for close Friends and family at the Field Club in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Donations may be made to the Honour Society or the Alumni Association of University of Western Ontario in Celcile's memory.

Of Exeter Villa, formerly of Centralia peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in her 67th year. Loving wife of Percy KNEE for almost 50 years. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Larry GIBSON, Perry and Nina KNEE and Darlene and Bill VAN BERGEN all of Centralia and Wallace KNEE of Saint Marys. Loving grandmother of Peter GIBSON, Tina and Christian PRÉMONT, Crystal KNEE and friend Ian GAWEL, Ryan and Justin KNEE, Jeremy and Jeffery VAN BERGEN and Jessica and Jacklyn KNEE. Great-grandmother of Merrick PRÉMONT. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Harold and Laura REID, Doug and Eileen REID, Wallace and Linda REID, Sam and Jackie REID, Mundon and Glennis REID and Audrey and Peter STOYLES of Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Lilly REID, infant brother Cyril and infant sister Evelyn, infant twin grand_sons, brothers-in-law Harry WARREN and Seymour KNEE and sisters-in-law Norma REID and Lillian KNEE. Donald Mercer DAVIS, in his 89th year, was the beloved husband of Gertrude (Trudy) (LESTER) DAVIS of Guelph. He was the loving father of Anne GORMAN of Sault Ste. Survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Howard Township, daughter of the late William J. and Mary (ARMSTRONG) PARNEY. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd S. BRIEN (1977). Loving mother of Gary and his wife Luanne Brien, and Beverley BRIEN. Cherished grandmother of Lee and Sarah BRIEN, Michelle BELLAMY, and great grandmother of Randi-Lyn and Danielle BELLAMY. Sister of the late John and Glenn PARNEY, Maxine LUTHER, and Merle GAWNE. Evelyn was an avid card player and especially enjoyed playing bridge with "the girls". She also enjoyed camping at Wildwood and entertaining at home. Surrounded by her loving family at Parkwood Hospital on Friday, September 8, 2006, Diane TIMMS of London at the age of 56. Devoted wife and best friend of Bruce TIMMS. Beloved mother of Kim TIMMS of London and Jason TIMMS of Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Cameron and Colin. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Lorraine GRAY/GREY, Vi GAWRONSKI, Joe FACTO and Gail SAXON. Predeceased by her brother Frank FACTO and her sister Suzanne MacDONALD. Diane will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins and her very special friend Pat EGGETT. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006 at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, at 3: 00 p.m. with visiting one hour prior to the service.
