GADBOIS, Bernice " Bea" (née SUTTON)
Passed away at her residence on Friday, November 10, 2006, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late George GADBOIS (2004.) Cherished mother of Cathy and her husband Tim CURGIN and adoring grandmother of Matthew. Dear sister of Mel (Linda), Don (Kathy), Bill (Jean), Marie, Annie and predeceased by sisters Bernie and Bert. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 1 p.m. with visiting one hour prior to the service. Cremation and inurnment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bea, may consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Peacefully at home on Saturday, December 16, 2006 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husband Gordon. Dear mother to Margaret CARSWELL of California, Peter of Australia, David (Linda) of Barrie and Jane GILLMAN (Vic) of Ancaster. Loved always by her 10 grandchildren. Missed sadly by sister Joyce GADD (Nelson) of Ottawa. Predeceased by brothers Ralph and Ronald. A celebration of Lucille's Life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Dear mother of Bev MORLEY of London, Edith and Bob HODGINS of Ailsa Craig and Liz DURAND of London. Dearly loved grandmother of Terry and Trudy HODGINS of Ailsa Craig, April and Luc GADOURY of Parry Sound, Adam and Carrie DURAND of Bayfield, Aimee and Kieran O'SULLIVAN of London and Allison DURAND of London. Dear great-grandmother of 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Gordon MORLEY of Craigwiel Gardens. Predeceased by brother Gordon CARTER and sister Edith CARTER (infant.) JOHNSON, Jean (formerly GADSBY, BOOTH, née RUTHERFORD)
Passed away peacefully on March 1, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, in her 87th year. Predeceased by husbands Bernard GADSBY, Stanley BOOTH and John JOHNSON, brother Ian RUTHERFORD and brother-in-law Frederick SCYTHES. Mother of Rosemary KNECHTEL (John) of Ancaster, Ontario and Christopher GADSBY (Cheryl) of Saltspring Island, British Columbia. Survived by sister Margaret SCYTHES of Hamilton, brother Douglas RUTHERFORD (Doreen) of Markham, sister-in-law Connie RUTHERFORD of Devon, England, grand_sons Andrew, Sean and Colin, as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United Kingdom Jean was a longtime resident of St. Elizabeth's Village until she moved to a retirement residence setting. The family wishes to thank the Mohawk College students and facility who care for Jean throughout her illness. The family also greatly appreciates the care received from the staff at The Meadowlands and Blackadar Retirement Residences, as well the care and compassion provided by the wonderful nurses, doctors, staff at the Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Peter's Hospital, 3 East. Cremation has taken place, with interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. A Memorial Service will be held at Ryerson United Church, 265 Wilson Street East, Ancaster on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1 p.m. Those wishing, may donate in Jean's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter's Hospital Foundation, 88 Maplewood Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario L8M 1W9. Arrangements entrusted to Dodsworth and Brown, Ancaster Chapel (905-648-3852).
