DONAHUE, The Reverend Lee Stephen
Beloved husband of Lillian (LANCASTER) (YEOMAN) DONAHUE and the late Miriam "Mimi" (DEAN) DONAHUE, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9th, 2006 at London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario in his 88th year following a courageous battle with cancer. Lee is survived by his sister-in-law Joan (Martin) FIALA of Redstone, Colorado. Loving father of Russell (Marlene) DONAHUE of Calgary Alberta; Ellen (Ross) DONAHUE- INGRAHAM of Ingonish, Nova Scotia; Barbara DONAHUE of Victoria, British Columbia; Nancy (John) HARMON of Queenstown, New Brunswick; and Stephen (Leta) DONAHUE of Montreal, Québec. Also loved by his fifteen grandchildren Christian (Marie-Chantale) LILLINGTON of Petawawa, Ontario; Casey LILLINGTON, Corey LILLINGTON, Karla (Trevor) WILLIAMS, Shannon (Matthew) INGRAHAM- CHRISTIE, and Lucy HARMON all of Halifax, Nova Scotia; Ann and Miriam "Mim" HARMON of Fredericton, New Brunswick; Stephanie, Andrea and Russell DONAHUE of Montreal, Québec; Ryan (Nimrodel) DONAHUE and Erin DONAHUE of Calgary, Alberta; Meghan and Tyson MATTY of Victoria, British Columbia; and by his four great-grandchildren Tessa and Jonah WILLIAMS of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Emilie and Mathis LILLINGTON of Petawawa, Ontario. A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13th, 2006 in London with interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 16th, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. at Montreal West Presbyterian Church, 160 Ballantyne Avenue North, Montreal, Québec. Lillian and the entire family extend heartfelt thanks to the dedicated doctors, nurses and palliative staff of St. Joseph's and Victoria Hospitals in London as well as the Victorian Order of Nurses for the care and comfort extended to Lee and the family throughout his illness. In lieu of flowers, Friends might consider a donation to the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation "for the London Learning Centre for Dyslexia" 4 Queen Street South, Hamilton, Ontario, L8P 3R3 or to the charity of their choice. FIALKOV, Dr. Gershon
Succumbed to his illness, January 21, 2006, at Baycrest Hospital. Born in 1922, he was a soldier, surgeon, husband, father, grandfather and brother. Loving husband to Bronia (née BROMBERG.) Father to his cherished children, Harry and his wife Karen, Jeffrey and his wife Laura, Eynat (predeceased) and her husband Mark. Zaida adored his grandchildren, Benjamin, Shanyn, Joshua, and Ari. Devoted brother to Joseph FIALKOV and his wife Teddy. Funeral Services will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel (905-881-6003), on Monday, January 23, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. Interment at Mount Sinai Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Eynat Albert Foundation at Gilda's Club Toronto, www.gildasclubtoronto.org. He was a passionate man who prized his family most.
