Peacefully on Wednesday, January 11th, 2006 at the Georgetown Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Dick SUCCEE in his 78th year, loving husband of Stella for 53 years, beloved father of Bruce (Dorothy,) Rick (Kathy) both of Brampton and Nancy HANNA (Richard) of Winnipeg. Dear Grampa of Craig, Sarah, Matthew, Nicholas, Christopher and Rory. Brother of Cecil, Hazel DOWNHAM and Jane FEWIN. Dick will be sadly missed by his best friend Billy. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones and son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, 905-877-3631, on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Friday January 13th at 1: 00 p.m. Cremation to follow. At Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll on Tuesday, April 18, 2006, Patrick (Pat) JOHNSON, of R.R.#2, Mt. Elgin, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Laetta (WILSON) JOHNSON. Dear father of Patrick and his wife Judy of Woodstock, Eric of R.R.#2, Mt. Elgin, Allen of Ingersoll and Kathy FEWSTER of Tillsonburg. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Ralph JOHNSON of Harrison, Michigan, Pauline and her husband Frank ORMEROD of Ingersoll, Marie SHAND of Ingersoll, Margaret and her husband Bob SKILLINGS of Woodstock and Phyllis and her husband Harry CHASE of Nova Scotia. Mr. JOHNSON was Fire Chief of Southwest Oxford Township for 17 years and Director of Oxford Mutual Insurance for many years. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Thursday at 8: 30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Ingersoll on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Harris Street Cemetery. Peacefully at University Hospital in London, Ontario on Saturday, June 10th, 2006. Mildred (LOGAN) FORTEY in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Harry and Edna (AIKIN) LOGAN. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Reginald FORTEY (1976) and dear and loving mother of Eileen (Kenneth) ALLEN, Joan (Larry) HUNDERTMARK all of London, Kay (Bryn) HARRIS of Wallacetown, Linda (Robert) FEWSTER of Kilworth, Margaret (Ken) YEOMAN, Lorne FORTEY and Lois (David) WILLIAMS all of London. Predeceased by a son Bruce Warren FORTEY (1953.) Dear and loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Fern DAY of Lakeside. Predeceased by sister Doris GREGORY, brothers Lorne, Arnold, Cecil, Leroy and Glen LOGAN. Sister-in-law of Rita and Shirley LOGAN. RABAEY, Dorothy Ruth (née FEWSTER)
The passing of Dorothy Ruth RABAEY, wife of Camiel "Cam" RABAEY, of Douglas, New Brunswick, occurred on September 27, 2006 at her home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 19, 1940 in Saint Mary's, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Ruth (FEDDREY) FEWSTER. Dorothy had retired from working with her husband in their accounting business. She was a member of Saint Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church and an active member of the Catholic Women's League. She was an avid gardener who loved her flower garden and even had a degree on Floral Design. Together with her husband, she raised and showed Quarter Horses and Beagles for many years. Dorothy's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kenneth SMITH of Noonan, Dan (Dianne) RABAEY of Saint Thomas, Ontario and Bob (Patricia) RABAEY of Strathroy, Ontario; one daughter, Laurie (Stuart) APPT of Jemseg; five grandchildren, Kyle, Dannielle, Jessica, Sarah and Spencer; one brother, Robert (Barbara) FEWSTER; two sisters, Donna (Ray) WAKEM and Bonnie (Larry) SCHIEFER; several nieces and nephews; Godmother, Theresa DUNLAP and special friend, Sharon TURNER. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of LaSalette Roman Catholic Church, LaSalette, Ontario, on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Rev. FEWSTER, Ronald George " Hawk"
Born December 30, 1949, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2006. He has left behind his family who will always remember him with love and lots of smiles. They are: His wife, best friend and soul mate Cathy; His mother, Gertie FEWSTER and her best friend, Spike LOGAN; His favourite father and mother-in-law, George and Verna RIFFEL; All who he considers his brothers and sisters: Al (Alfonse) and Marlene (WILSON) FEWSTER, Gary (SCROG) and Sue FEWSTER, Bruce (Rif) and Wendy (Wendell) RIFFEL Also all who he considers his nieces and nephews: Jess FEWSTER and Chris PEPPER, Tiffany FEWSTER and Moe MORRIS, Sarah FEWSTER and Jeff HEINBUCK, Amanda FEWSTER and Jay HORTON, Jody RIFFEL and Jamie RIFFEL, Chris ROVERS and Nick ROVERS Last but not least his beloved walking buddy Cali (his Goofy Dog). Ron was predeceased by his father Carl FEWSTER in 2002 and by his beloved Snickers in 2004. He loved from afar and has never forgotten his children, Jennifer and Jacob. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ron has left behind many Friends who will always cherish his love, Friendship and sense of humor. The support of family, Friends, doctors, nurses and care workers this past year will never be forgotten by Ron, Cathy and Cali. Love and thanks to all. Anyone knowing Ron knew he loved sports, especially his golf, fishing and baseball. He really loved and treasured his walks with Snickers, Cali and Cathy. He always had a nickname for everyone. Friends and relatives are invited to join with the family for a time of memorial visitation at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday November 21, 2006 from 2: 30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. where a memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend John FURRY officiating. A celebration of Ron's life will be held following the memorial service at the Oxford Golf and Country Club (Craigowan). Come prepared to reminisce and smile. All guests wishing to participate are asked to bring their drivers, a golf ball and tee to "Tee-it-up" on the 1st hole in Ron's memory!
