GURIZZAN, Vilma Marina (née BATTISTON)
Peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the Humber River Regional Hospital - Church Site. Vilma GURIZZAN will now rejoin her beloved husband Mario who passed away on November 17, 2005. Loving mother of Eileen and her husband Joe ERNER and Lerry and his wife Miranda. Dear grandmother of Tanja, Michael, Tiffany, Matthew, Sandra, Tamara and Marc. Dear sister of Luciano, Egidia CECELLI, Sergio, Giovanni and Orfeo. Vilma will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her many relatives and Friends. Family and Friends may visit at the Demarco Funeral Home "Keele Chapel", 3725 Keele St. (between Sheppard and Finch Aves.) 416-636-7027, on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Fidelis Catholic Church (33 Connie St.) with entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. In memory of Ernest Woodbury, beloved husband of Lilly Woodbury, wife of 65
years. Wonderful Dad of Bernard, Lee (friend David), Jane and Robert, and
daughter-in-law Doris. Grandfather of Jane Robbins (partner Paul) of
Kingston, David Harris (wife Marie) of Levack, Lynn Popel (husband Vince) of
Perth Road Village, Bernard Jr. of Markstay, Jason Harris (wife Kim) of
Naughton, Ernest (wife Nona) of Kingston, Daniel (partner Abby) of Toronto,
Dustin (partner Lynn) of Hanmer and Lilly Jr, his own ray of sunshine,
Sunsite Estates. Great grandfather of Jessica, Sondra, Angie, Christina,
Kyle, Shane, Notia, Kaylyn, Dana, Jennifer, Vincent Jr., Logan, Sebastien,
Christian, Kayla and Carly. Great-Great Grandfather of Dustin and Hanna.
Born in Gravesend Kent, England, became a ships Master for Shell Oil,
Skipper of the BP Spirit. Emigrated to Canada in 1957 and worked at the INCO
smelter until retirement. Lived for many years in Morea Heights until he and
Lilly began travelling to their homes in Brooksville Florida and Sunsite
Estates on Manitoulin Island where he has spent his last years of
contentment. Ernest passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at
Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, receiving the loving care of the
excellent staff who looked after him so well so many times these last few
years. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, Val Caron/Blezard
Valley Chapel, 1815 Main St. Val Caron, Thursday January 26th, 2006 at 11
am. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, please send
donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Friends may call 7-9 pm Wednesday
and after 10 am Thursday.

At Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, Beverley D. KENNEDY in her 70th year. Beloved wife of James KENNEDY. Dear mother of Debbie ERNEST (Robert) of London and James "Jim" KENNEDY (Valerie) of New Liskeard. Loving grandmother of Chris, Tracy (Jeff,) Tera and R.J. Sister of Joan MONTELONE (Monty) of London, Jerry GORDON of British Columbia, and Bob GORDON, Linda GORDON and Sharon GORDON all of London. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, on Friday form 2: 00-4:00 and 7: 00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celabrated in St. Patrick's Church (1251 Dundas at Oakland), on Saturday at 10: 00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Elma Irene MacDOUGALL
In loving memory of Elma Irene MacDOUGALL, July 2, 1915 - January 5, 2006.
Elma MacDOUGALL, a resident of the Centennial Manor, Little Current, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the age of 90 years. She was born at Gabarus, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late James and Maria (Stacey) MacGILLIVRAY. Elma had a variety of interests, one of her favourites being playing Rook. She also enjoyed shuffleboard, fishing, dancing and listening to bagpipe music. She also had a great love of horses. Elma will be sadly missed by her loving family, but many fond memories will be cherished. Elma was predeceased by her husband Donald MacDOUGALL, loving and loved mother of Judy and husband Don BOWERMAN of Lively, Evelyn and husband Frank BOWERMAN of Mindemoya, Maria and husband Blake BOWERMAN of Espanola and Jim MacDOUGALL of Elliot Lake. Proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Marion ERNST of Sydney, Nova Scotia and Hazel HASTEY of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Predeceased by sister Elsie, brother Roy and step brother Everett. The funeral service will be conducted in the William G. Turner Chapel of the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Darlene HARDY officiating. MOORE, John Stuart
75, Halifax, Died Wednesday, October 25, 2006; peacefully at home. Born in Halifax, he was the youngest son of the late John P. MOORE and Annie Isabel MOORE (ROBSON.) John enjoyed his Friends and family, and was especially proud of his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was an avid sports fan. He loved to sail and to swim. His swimming buddies at Northcliff Pool were very important to John. Away in Ontario for 40 years, John returned for his love of Nova Scotia in 1989 for his retirement years. He will be remembered for his good humour and expansive repertoire of jokes. He is survived by his children, Penny (Don STEWARD/STEWART/STUART) in Dartmouth and Joan (Murray MALONEY,) Debbie, Bradley and John Jr. in Ontario, as well as his, grandchildren Keith and Leanne STEWARD/STEWART/STUART and Andrea, Christopher and Brendan MALONEY, and great-grandchild Ava Grace FISCHER. Sisters Ina MONDOUX in Halifax and Helen BUTLER in Ontario survive him also. He was predeceased by his wife Betty (JAMES,) his brother Carl MOORE, and his sister Dentzel ERNST. Donations to Canadian Diabetes society are appreciated. A memorial is being planned by his family for the August holiday on his beloved Saint Margaret's Bay.

PEDERSEN, Paul
Of Saint Thomas, formerly of Port Talbot and Union, passed away at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, April 22, 2006, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 63 years to Sigrid (ERNSTSEN) PEDERSEN. Dearly loved father of Ebba SCHMID and her husband Ted of Rodney, Roy PEDERSEN and his wife Dorothy of Saint Thomas, John PEDERSEN and his wife Amy of North Plains, Oregon, and the late Grethe BEGLEY. Cherished grandfather of Cheryl, Michael, Dennis, Timothy, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Anna. Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his daughter, he was predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Born in Hald, Denmark, February 3, 1920, the son of the late Carl and Anna (PETERSEN) PEDERSEN, he came to Canada in 1949. Paul farmed and resided at Port Talbot from 1956-1990, after which he moved to Union and then to Saint Thomas in 1999. He was a member of St. Ansgar Lutheran Church, London and a Past President of the Optimist Club of Wallacetown. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery, Tyrconnell. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association gratefully acknowledged.
