Peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2006 at the age of 96, in
Hornby, born October 3, 1909, in Denmark. Henry came to Canada
as a young man in 1928 after answering a Danish newspaper ad
to work at Sheridan Nurseries, in Ontario, Canada. While living
through the Depression, he met and married Alice in 1935. They
had three children, Eric (Violet,) Honey
FROESE and Katrina (Mike)
EACRETT. He and Alice soon started their own nursery business,
Fulsang Nurseries, in Oakville that prospered over the years.
He retired in 1960 and his son Eric carried on. Alice died in
1997. In 2001 Henry then lived with Mike and Katrina until his
death. Honey, who resides in Hope, British Columbia, visited
Henry often over the years. Henry is survived by his three children
and their spouses, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He lived a long and interesting life and was much loved by all
who knew of his gentle spirit. A service celebrating the life
of Henry will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the
Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West,
