Passed suddenly in the comfort of her daughter's home on December 25th 2006. She was surrounded by her loving family and Friends after a wonderful Christmas Day. Predeceased by her husband Warren. Loving mother to Susan DUGAL and her husband Paul and Penny and her husband Norm NEUFELD. Proud Grandmother to Travis, Jeff, Julien, Matthew S. and Matthew J. Of Saint Thomas, on Tuesday, May 8, 2006, at his late residence, surrounded by his loving family, in his 61st year. Dearly loved husband of Sandra (THISTLE) GREENGRASS and loved father of Randy and Dale GREENGRASS. Dear brother of Edward (Mary) GREENGRASS of Cambridge, Dorothy DRYBURGH of Saint Thomas, Irene TARNOW of British Columbia and the late Norma GAGNON and John GREENGRASS. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Norm was born in Montreal on April 11, 1946, the son of the late James GREENGRASS and the late Florence GREENGRASS and her special friend Joseph PASHLEY. He was an adherent of the Faith Baptist Church and owned and operated Crown Upholstery. Norm was an avid sports fan and helped start the Saint Thomas Oldtimers Hockey League. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday at 1: 00 at Faith Baptist Church Chapel, Pastor Todd DUGARD of Barrie, a nephew of Norm's officiating. Cremation to follow with private interment in Elmdale Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund or Notes and Hopes (Canadian Cancer Benefit Album).

McMURRAY, Lawrence Edmund (November 29th, 1925-October 28, 2006)
Lawrence McMURRAY, a resident of Mindemoya died at home on October 28th, 2006 at the age of 80. He was born in Tehkummah, son of the late John James and Mina (KAY) McMURRAY. Lawrence was predeceased by his first wife Rosie. His wife Eleanor (McALLISTER) and his children, son Len and wife Shannon and daughter Freda will sadly miss him. Grandpa greatly loved and adored by his grandchildren Bryan, Todd, Ashley, Jennifer of Owen Sound. Dearest brother to Orland and family of Elliott Lake, Floyd and family of Brampton, Glen and family of Hepworth, Percy and family of Erin, Scott and family of Nova Scotia and dearest brother to Bernice DUGGAN and family of Tehkummah, Marie KAY and family of Thunderbay, Sally SMITH and family of Alberta. He was predeceased by his sister Louise BATES and family of Owen Sound and brothers Ken and family, Bill and family. Lawrence will be remembered and sadly missed by so many Friends who were like family to him. Such as his and Eleanor's room-mates and staff members of the Field House, Hope farm and Community Living, Mums Restaurant in Mindemoya. His presence will be greatly missed. As of October 28th Mr. Lawrence McMURRAY returned back home to be with his Heavenly Father. And Friends and family said their final goodbyes on November 2nd, 2006, at the Mindemoya Cemetery. All of Lawrences' family would like to take this time to express our condolences and support to all those whose lives have been touched by his loving presence. Special thanks and enormous appreciation to all of those who cared for him especially on his last days. The staff members and room-mates of his residence. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved Husband, Father and Papa. David leaves behind his wife of 58 years Betty. Loving father of Gail (David) RICE, and Karen (John) TAILOR/TAYLOR. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrew (Tania) RICE, Racheal (Wayne) PALMER, Amanda (Barret) McNAB, Christine DUGGAN, Rob (Steph) DUGGAN. Also missed by his 6 great-grandchildren. DUGGAN, David Leo (March 26, 1967-February 9, 2006)
David's passion was photography. He had a talent for 'framing the shot.' He always found the angle that made the most mundane subjects beautiful and novel. He loved playing with reflections and with light. David graduated at the top of his class in Applied Photography at Sheridan College, Oakville, in 1996. He moved to Vancouver shortly thereafter. David's occupation was in Hospitality. He excelled as a hotel front desk manager. David was named Employee of the Year at the Century Plaza Hotel in 2002. In 2001 The mayor of Vancouver presented him with the City of Vancouver Tourism Award. David earned the Team Service Award in 1998 at the Westin Bayshore. He was named Employee of the Month at Toronto's Park Plaza Hotel in September 1996. David graduated from the Hotel and Convention Management program at Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, Scarborough, in 1989. David traveled the world, with sojourns to New Zealand, Switzerland, Morocco and the Czech Republic, as well as sea to sea across Canada. He started out in Whitby, Ontario, where he grew up on an apple farm. David passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Special thanks to staff at Intensive Care Unit-2, Vancouver General, who gave him the best care following his fall. Words cannot express the pain and sorrow from his unexpected and tragic death. David you are truly loved and sadly missed. Over and out.

Passed away peacefully on June 3, 2006 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Park MERRIFIELD, she is lovingly remembered by her son David and his wife Jacqueline, her son Bruce, and her daughter Sheila and her husband Douglas JOHNSTONE, and by her grandchildren Jeffrey, Scott, and Sarah. Marjorie is survived by her sisters Edith DUGGAN and Eleanor CHASE, and by her nieces Barbara DUGGAN and Jennifer LOW/LOWE/LOUGH, and by her nephews George DUGGAN and his wife Debbie and Doctor Robert CHASE. She was predeceased by her nephew Doctor R. DUGGAN Jr. and by her niece Claire CHASE. Many loyal Friends, especially Betty and Sandy CAMPBELL, Gord MURRAY, Mary PHEMEISTER, Miriam JONES, and Kathleen CANNON, will share the family's loss. Marjorie took active roles in the Humbercrest United Church, the Baby Point Club, Trinity College School Ladies Guild, and the Toronto Humber Yacht Club, where her love and knowledge of antiques were always an asset at fundraising sales. Devoted to her family and to her Friends, Marjorie lived her life with generosity and love, and she will be dearly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Sunrise Assisted Living facility in Richmond Hill for their care and kindness. DUGGAN, George Herrick, 1946 -- Died This Day
Civil engineer, naval architect and yachtsman, born in Toronto on September 6, 1862
Educated at Upper Canada College and at the University of Toronto, he became chief engineer and later chairman of Dominion Bridge Co. In 1917, he was director of the St. Lawrence Bridge Co. when the Quebec Bridge, the world's longest cantilever span, opened to traffic. He was also the first to develop electric welding. A keen sailor, he designed and built about 150 yachts. In 1896, sailing for the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club of Montreal, he skippered Glencairn I to victory over the Americans in the Seawanhaka Cup, a small-yacht alternative to the America's Cup. He successfully defended the cup for the next eight years.

Dorothy was predeceased by her son Derek.
