service will be held on Thursday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment in Elmdale

DUDEK, for her special kindness and Friendship. We would also
like to thank the nurses and staff at Victoria Hospital, Critical
Care Unit, for providing such wonderful care and support. At
Joyce's request, cremation has taken place. A private memorial
will be held at a later date. Joyce was a lover of nature and
ornithology. In her memory, donations can be made to a Nature

Passed away peacefully, at The Wenleigh, Mississauga, on Friday,
January 6, 2006, five days following her 100th birthday. Shirley,
wife of the late H. Gordon. Daughter of the late Albert and Frances,
and sister of the late Faith, Hazel, Ross and Erle. Aunt Shirley
will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and Friends. Funeral

Bob passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Brant
Centre in Burlington, Ontario at the age of 96 years. He is predeceased
by his beloved wife
Helen (née
SCARFE) of Brantford, Ontario,
his brother Edward (Ted) of Beverly Hills, California and a half
sister Pamela of England. He leaves behind two sons, Reg and
wife Marywill of Atlanta, Georgia, Edward and wife Dana of Burlington,
Ontario, brother-in-law Jeremy
SCARFE of Toronto and a stepsister
Penelope DUDOMAINE, who resides in England. Bob also leaves five
grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Justin, Ted and Jimmy as well
as two great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Molly-Anne. Bob was
born on Sunday, April 10, 1910 in Fredericton, New Brunswick
to father Ernest and mother Marguerite (Daisy)
WINSLOW. He was
educated at King's College School (Windsor, Nova Scotia)., Magdalen
College School (Oxford, England), The University of New Brunswick,
(Fredericton) and the Canadian Artillery School (Kingston). Bob
served overseas from 1940-45 in England, France, Belgium, Holland
and Germany attached to the 5th Battery of the R.C.A. as well
as to Number 30 British Corp. Military Government (509 Detachment).
On September 14, 1945 Bob married Helen
SCARFE, in Cheltenham,
England. He then returned in November to Fredericton where he
honourably discharged with the rank of Captain. Subsequently,
Bob worked for 10 years with Scarfe and Co. (paints) of Brantford,
7 years with Valerie Wear and 15 years with three separate Canadian
based stock brokerage firms. Helen and Bob lived in Brantford
for 37 years retiring to Litchfield Park, Arizona before finally
returning to Ontario in 1981. At the request of the immediate
family, a private gathering was held followed by interment at
Farringdon Burial Ground, Brantford. The family wishes to both
recognize and thank the staff at Martha's Landing, the nursing
staff at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, the caring and thoughtful
staff at the Brant Centre and in particular Doctor Adam
GRZESLO,
for his patience, understanding and very generous professional
care. Thanks and appreciation also to the entire Lawson family,
for their many expressions of kindness over the years. In lieu
