DUARTE, Antonio Freitas
Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, July 5th, 2006 in his 78th year, Antonio Freitas DUARTE of Strathroy. Antonio is survived by his loving wife Fernanda of 51 years. Loving father of Joe (Donna GAGNON) DUARTE of Strathroy and Mike DUARTE of Saint Thomas. Will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Justin, Jesse, Nicole, Kelly, Sadie, Jordan and Hayley and Emily DUARTE. Great grandfather to Logan DUARTE. Antonio will be remembered by sisters Salome DUARTE, Amelia ALMEIDA (Jose) both of the Azores and brother Jorge (Teresa) DUARTE of Mississauga. Sister in law Lourdes LOPES (Jose) of the Azores and special Godfather to Fatima MELO (Victor) of Strathroy and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy on Friday, July 7th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers to be said at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 8th, 2006 at 10 a.m. from All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Strathroy with Father Michael KISZKO Celebrant. Interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Antonio.

Peacefully, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Saturday, January 21, 2006; Maria, beloved mother of Gisela and her husband Humberto DUARTE. Fondly remembered Oma of Ryan. Mrs. SOPUCH is resting at the funeral home of Skinner and Middlebrook Ltd., 128 Lakeshore Rd. E. (1 block west of Hurontario St.), Mississauga, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Prayers in the Chapel Wednesday at 11 a.m., follow died by cremation.

Peacefully passed away at the Toronto East General Hospital on Monday, April 3, 2006, in her 85th year, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jack in 1967. Loved mother of Marilyn GLAHOLM and husband Bryan, Nancy SHANTZ, Donna DUARTE and husband Joe, Jack SHANTZ and wife Donna, Dayn SHANTZ and wife Laurie, and Kenneth SHANTZ and wife Annie. Dear grandmother of Susanne, Lori, Lisa, Adam, Jason, Shane, Evan, Katheryne, Kevin and Cindy. Great-grandmother of Wesley, Taylor, Connor, Victoria, Evelyn, Paige, Wilhelm, Dylan, Grant, Kara and Jessica. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Private family service to be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
