STONE, Fern Lorraine (née LEVY)
At the Southampton Care Centre on Friday, January 6th, 2006, at the age of 80 years, the former Fern LEVY, wife of the late George STONE, mother of Jane PETTE and her friend Paul HILLYER of Owen Sound. Grandmother of Shawn and Sandra PETTE of Paris, Michael PETTE of London, Susan and Jay DRUMMOND of London, and Jennifer PETTE and her friend James SCOGNACK of Owen Sound. Fern was predeceased by her son Tom in 1972, by her brother Lloyd LEVY, and by her parents George and Carolyn LEVY. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Faith Lutheran Church, 525 Ivings Dr. Port Elgin, on Monday morning, January 9th, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the sanctuary of the church at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Dwight BIGGS officiating. A reception with the family will follow. Interment Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. BRADSHAW and his wife Amber and Keith REID and his wife Breanne. Loving grandmother of Cassandra and Kristen. Beloved daughter of Lillian RAMSAY and the late Clifford RAMSAY. Sister of Katherine REYNOLDS and her husband Bruce and Ruth RAMSAY and her husband Mark BOULET. Dear Aunt of Aaron and Vanessa REYNOLDS and Theo and Chris REYNOLDS. Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale, Monday, September 25, 2006. Marguerite 'Peggy' Elizabeth STEPHEN, of Markdale in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) STEPHEN. Loving sister of Betty DRUMMOND (Ian) of Markdale and Georgina LUFT (Lawrence) of Carstairs, Alberta. Dear aunt of Pat LUFT (Gordon) of Didsbury, Alberta, James DRUMMOND of Elmira and David DRUMMOND (Joanne) of Kitchener. Also survived by great-nephews Stephen and Michael LUFT and families of Alberta. The family will receive Friends at the May Funeral Home, Markdale, Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Markdale Baptist Church, Wednesday September 27th at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Pointe Claire, Quebec. Peacefully with her daughter at her side on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late John MINGAY (1988.) Loving mother of Jane MINGAY and her partner John KRAMER of Toronto and the late Ian MINGAY (1996.) Dear sister of Betty TAILOR/TAYLOR of Waterloo. Aunt Jean will be missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins: Alexandra BULMER, Matthew, SIOBHAN and Iain BULMER, April BULMER, Joan FUSSELL, Ann REX, Larry TAILOR/TAYLOR, Paul, Robin, David and Richard MARRITT. Everyone who knew Jean will miss her open door, her stylish hat collection, her morning glories, her tap dancing and her fierce Friendship. He will be sadly missed by grand_sons Darrin McIVER of Newmarket, Ryan McIVER of Barrie and Shaun (Jennifer) McIVER of Toronto, great-grandchildren Jack James, Leah, Lorisa, Mallori and Matthew as well as brothers and sisters Glen (Marion) HEWTON of Priceville, Jim (Pam) BRIDGES of Winnipeg, Donna (Ken) BROWN of Ridgetown, Doreen CURRIE of London and Glenna TIFFIN of Ridgetown. She is survived by her brother Charles C. HOLTON and predeceased by her siblings Elizabeth DRURY, Jane FITZGERALD- MOORE and Mark HOLTON. Also predeceased by her husbands, Frederick E. WIGLE and William Rolph BARNES and her son Gerald Ernest WIGLE. She is lovingly remembered by her stepchildren and their families, William and Gina BARNES, Rennie and Howard ARSENAULT, Peter and Elizabeth BARNES and Bruce and Elizabeth BARNES.
