Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 56 years to Doris. Loving father of Sally MORAN (Tom), Susan DROHAN (Jerry), John (Debbie), James (Nancy) and Michael (Kathy). Fondly remembered by 14 grandchildren, loving Poppa of 16 great-grandchildren. Died peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, February 15th, 2006, after a short illness, in her 80th year. Lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Robyn DROLL and Mary Lou DOCKSEY of Sarasota, Florida, and by her husband Eric WILSON. Predeceased by her mother Agnes MARSHALL and by her first husband Reverend Canon Kingsley DOCKSEY. Also remembered by her aunt Jeanette McLAREN and grand_sons Scott and Jason, and great-grand_son Chad. At the age of 98 years, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on December 9, 2006 at Bluewater Health - Palliative Care Unit. Violet was born in Caledon, Ontario and resided in Sarnia. She was the daughter of the late Jemima PETCH and William TRIBBLE. Predeceased by her loving husband, Michael Henry DRONYK who died in June 1993. They were married October 26, 1940. Loving and cherished mother of Verna of Toronto, Bill and his wife Linda (Craig) of Kitchener, and Bob and his wife Linda (Jolly) of London. he will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Shawn and his wife Gillian, Mandy and her husband Carl BLAKE, Michael, Kim, Corey, Ben and Holly. Violet had two great-granddaughters who were her little "darlings-" Brielle BLAKE and Madeline DRONYK. Predeceased by her brothers Bert, George, Jim, Jack, Charlie TRIBBLE, and sisters Sarah RAYBURN and Nellie BRYAN. Violet is survived by her sister-in-law Gladys TRIBBLE of Guelph, Ann RASMUSSEN of International Falls, Minnesota. and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her son, Edmund (Ted) SMITH, and his wife, Carol, daughter, Charlotte, and her husband, Mike SEXSMITH, daughter, Kathleen, and her husband, Bob DROUIN, and son, Tim SMITH, and his wife, Cindy. Also sadly missed by her grandchildren, Geoffrey SMITH, and his wife, Christine, Emily SMITH, Hugh SMITH, Alison LEWIS, Michael DROUIN, Victoria STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, and David SMITH. Beryl was predeceased by her loving husband, David Angus SMITH, Q.C., in 1984. A native of Norfolk, England, after meeting David during World War 2, she emigrated from England to Canada as a war bride in September, 1946. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and long serving member of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Islington. NORREY, Ernest G.
Born September 11, 1912, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. E.G. as he was known, leaves behind his wife Phyllis and son Ron and his wife Audrey, as well as two grandchildren Brent and his wife Alisa and Dawn DROUIN and her husband Patrick and four great grandchildren Dylan, Grace, Isabel and Kayley. Ernie will be remembered by many as a man who lived life to the fullest, whether it be with his buddies on Thursday night on the boat or even with his family. He spent all of his working life with the Toronto Harbour Police except for the five years he served as Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Dragoons in Italy and Holland with A squadron. He started as a lifeguard and retired as superintendent and while on the job saw the City of Toronto develop to what it is today from the station house and tower that has since been replaced with a state of the art facility that is now Metro Marine. He was the man in the boat who with his partner rescued the man out of the Don River during hurricane Hazel. He was on duty and one of the first on the scene the night the Noronic caught fire in Toronto and took part in countless rescues that many are thankful for. Ironically, when Ernie retired in 1977 he could not stay retired for long as his desire to be around the harbour drew him back and he was able to get a job as a safety inspector with the Port Authority a job he did for 10 years until he retired for good. If one word could sum up Ernie and the life he lived it would be "lovely" ironically it was his favourite saying. So with Lake Ontario calm and the sun setting, Supt. NORREY has taken the helm of the Number 5 patrol boat and has sailed off on his last call. We will all miss you and sadly the City of Toronto has lost a voice to its past. At London Health Science Centre, University Hospital on Thursday, July 20, 2006, George PERPAROS of London in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Konstantina (Dina.) Dear father of Athanasios PERPAROS of Toronto and Matina and her husband John NEWMAN of Burlington and loved by two granddaughters Georgia and Victoria NEWMAN. Dear brother of Bill PERPAROS of Arizona, John and his wife Helen PERPAROS of London, Peter and his wife Diane PERPAROS of California, Maria and her husband George MICHALOPOULOS of Lambeth, Voula and her husband George ECONOMOUS of London and Pat and her husband Tom STAMOULIS of London and brother-in-law Sotiris KALDIS and his wife Diamanto and sister-in-laws Diamanto and her husband George LADAS and Katerina and her husband Theodori DROUZIOS all of Greece. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne) on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road West on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 10 a.m. with Father James CHELONIS officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Friends who wish may make donations to Diabetes Association or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Myron, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga following a lengthy illness, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Daria, loving father to Andre and his wife Anne-Marie, Roman and his wife Carolyn, Larissa and her husband Andrew and Tania and her husband Danny. Treasured Dido to Adrian, Alexa, Lara, Cassandra, Taissa, Sophia, Sonya and Melania. Dearest brother of Wolodymyr SOCHANIWSKYJ and Anna DROZDOWSKY. Retired teacher at Central Technical High School. Myron, although a man of few words will always be remembered by his family and Friends as a gentle and kind man, an avid sherry enthusiast, and cigar connoisseur. While he is missed, his life is celebrated.
