CHANEY, B.E.M. of London in his 86th year. Ed was
born in London, England on March 26th, 1921. Devoted husband
and treasured friend of Laura

CHANEY for 57 years.
He was also the proud father of Michael

of London. Devoted "Grandad" of Lisa, Katelyn and Allison. Ed
was also the much loved brother of the late Alex

CANT and her husband Charlie, Elsie and her

DOCHERTY, and Doris and her husband
the late Arthur
HOLLINGSWORTH. Dear brother-in-law of Alec and
Joyce TOMPSETT. He was "Uncle Ed" to Teresa, Louise, Lynne, Ruth,
Don, Robert, Gary, Malcolm, Chris and Philip. Ed will also be
missed by many treasured cousins, Friends and members of the
many local organizations and clubs to which he belonged. He was
a proud veteran of World War 2 and served in the Royal Air Force
for 7 years in Belgium, France, India, Pakistan, Burma and fought
at Dunkirk. Ed was honoured with the British Empire Medal for
his military service. He was a devoted long term employee for
31 years at M.M. Dillon as a Senior Electrical Designer. Ed was
an avid golfer and his musical talents with his ukelele were
enjoyed by many, especially veterans. Grateful thanks to Doctor
WELLS
and the staff of Parkwood Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 5th, 2006 at
2: 30 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Road
West, London. A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street
