Jean was a graduate of Havergal
College, a camper at Glen Bernard Camp in Sundridge, Ontario,
a life member of the Badminton and Racquet Club of Toronto, and
served in the Red Cross Transport Corps. in Toronto during World
War 2. A family service was held in Huntsville on Wed. February
15, 2006. Internment to follow at St. Peter's Anglican Church
in Cobourg, Ontario. The family wishes to thank the staff at
Muskoka Landing for their care during this past year. Special
thanks are sent to her private caregivers in Huntsville, Maggie
WEST and Ruth
BRENNER, for their dedication and compassion. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the
Huntsville Hospital Foundation, 100 Frank Miller Drive, Unit
4, Huntsville, Ontario, P1H 1H7.

devoted bridge partners. She was an elegant lady, a former art
dealer with a keen and enquiring eye, and a generous and loving
matriarch of the Liros family. A memorial reception will be held
