Ontario). Greatly beloved friend of many, 'Sully' served the
Vancouver Children's Aid Society as Social Worker, then Inter
Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada. She was General Director
in Saskatchewan, then directed Nurses' Christian Fellowship British
Columbia, and later, Nurses' Christian Fellowship nationally
and internationally. She was a compassionate, fun-loving mentor
to generations of Pioneer campers, undergraduate and graduate
university and nursing students. While a devoted member of Saint John's
Anglican Church Shaughnessy for many years, she led the prayers
of the people with memorable sensitivity and spiritual insight.
The funeral is to take place Saturday, November 4th at 1 p.m.
at Saint John's Anglican Church Shaughnessy, corner of Granville
Street and Nanton Avenue. A memorial service will be held at
Saint John's Thursday, November 23 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
it would be appreciated if memorial gifts were made to Nurses
Christian Fellowship, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship 64 Prince
Andrew Place, Toronto, Ontario, M3C 2H4 or a charity of your

Kathleen was a member of the Baptist Church (Convention Baptist
of Ontario and Quebec) and a life member of the Baptist Missionary
Society. Mrs.
DIGGLE was well known as a church organist and
choir leader. Kathleen taught piano, organ and the theory of
music in many places in Ontario under the Royal Conservatory
of Toronto. She was a member of the Ontario Registered Music
Teachers Association and held the offices of President and Secretary
of the O.R.M.T.A. She also was a member of the Royal College
of Organists and graduated with degrees in piano and organ from
Trinity College of Music, London, England and the Royal Conservatory
of Music, Toronto. Kathleen and Don met and were married in Trinity
Baptist Church in Hamilton during World War 2. Don served as
a pilot with the Royal Air Force of Britain for 6 years in many
parts of the world. Don was a manager with the Canada Trust in
Hamilton, Guelph, Barrie and Burlington and Kathleen was a Rotary
and Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire member in these
places. A graveside service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial
Park, Guelph, on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. A memorial
service will be held in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to
the Gilchrist Chapel - McIntyre and Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi
Street, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Christian Blind
Mission International, Canadian National Institute for the Blind

2006 in her 65th year. Survived by siblings Barbara of Calgary,

special nieces Lisa and Theresa, and numerous cousins. Sadly
