will now join his soul mate Ellenor who predeceased him in 1993.
Ivor led an active life as past treasurer of Beaches Lion Club,
Royal Canadian Legion 42 and Monarchist League, as well as being
the longest serving District Returning Officer in Ontario. Resting
at Giffen-Mack "Danforth" Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at
Main St. subway), visitation begins on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. with a funeral service on Thursday, March 2nd at 1: 00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or
the Toronto East General Hospital would be appreciated by Ivor.

at the age of 87. William was born in Poplarfield, Manitoba.
He was the loving uncle of Kathy

DIFIORE and her husband
John of Welland. He will be sadly missed by his sister Ann
DANISH
of Fisher Branch, Manitoba, brother Walter of Winnipeg, Manitoba
and several nieces and nephews. William served in the Canadian
Armed Forces from 1939 to 1945. He moved to Toronto in 1955 and
worked for Canadian Pacific Railway and Canadian Pacific Express
until his retirement in 1981. Uncle Bill loved hockey and was
a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf fan. The family will receive Friends
at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (near Dundas)
on Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held
at the Cardinal Funeral Home Chapel, at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. If so desired,
memorial donations may be made to The War Amps or the Canadian
Cancer Society.
