Al NICHOLSON died suddenly on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at
the age of 65 in Harbin, China. Al was the beloved and loving
husband of 35 years of Evelyn (née
MARSHALL,) and cherished father
of Rebecca, Alexander and his wife Carol Ann, Robert and David.
Al was born in Canora, Saskatchewan, December 11, 1941 to the
late Alexander (Sandy) and Marian
NICHOLSON. He was the dear
little brother of Mary Anna
HIGGINS and the late Ruth
DIBBS.
He will be greatly missed by his many brothers- and sisters-in-law,
nieces and nephews and the Immanuel church family. Al was a talented
musician, a caring teacher and a warm and giving friend and will
be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many close Friends in
and around Fenelon Falls, Ontario - Al and Ev's home base for
many years - as well as new Friends in many exotic places Al
and Ev had traveled over the past few years to teach and learn.
Al was cremated in China on Christmas Day. A memorial service
to celebrate his life will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church,
20 Bond Street East, Fenelon Falls, Ontario on Friday, January 5,
2007 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Immanuel
Baptist Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated
by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jardine
