BARENDRECHT, Matthys " Matthew" Sr.
At the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday January 4, 2006, Matthys (Matthew) BARENDRECHT Sr. of Norwich in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Anna BARENDRECHT. Dear father of Ineke and husband George VAN MANEN of Norwich, Ardean and husband Ed VAN MANEN of Burgessville, Pete and wife Teresa of Woodstock, Nellie and husband John VAN PELT of Woodstock, Dick and wife Lyn of Norwich, Tineke and husband Case DEN DEKKER of Salford, Ann and husband Murray DEDERT of Burgessville, Matt and wife Robin of Norwich, Maria and husband Jerry JOOSSE of Alberta, Wilma and husband Wilfred BOON of Norwich, Marty and wife Adrie of Oxford Centre, John and wife Corrie of Burgessville, William and wife Teresa of Mt. Pleasant. Sadly missed by his 43 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Brother of Tina and husband Abram DEN BOESTERD of Brownsville. Predeceased by one great grandchild and one brother. Friends will be received at The Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main St. W., Norwich on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation, Norwich on Saturday January 7th at 2: 00 p.m. D.V. Reverend J. SPAANS officiating. Spring interment Norwich Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rehoboth Christian School would be appreciated. Arn-Lockie (519) 863-3020.

DEDMAN, Alvin
Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 30, 2006, at the Peel Memorial Hospital, in his 79th year. Beloved husband to Sheila DEDMAN. Loving father of Nancy (Edward) RAITANO, and Bob DEDMAN. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jason, Lee, Carrie, and his great-grand_son Jacob. Predeceased by his brother George DEDMAN. Family and Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel," 289 Main St. N., 905-451-1100, on Saturday, April 1, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral ceremonies will be held in the Chapel on Sunday at 3 p.m.

HORTON, Anne Marie
It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Anne Marie HORTON of Long Point, formerly of Tillsonburg, and Mitchell announces her passing at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday June 26, 2006 at age 60 years. She leaves behind a faithful, and dear friend and husband of 38 years David HORTON. Dear mother of Chad (Lynette) HORTON of Oakville; Andrea (Jason) DEDRICK of Brampton, and Tyler HORTON of Toronto. Cherished and forever loved grandmother to Sydney HORTON; Courtney HORTON, and Alexandra DEDRICK. Anne is also survived by sisters Cathy; Norma; Ilene, a brother Michael, and step-father Bill NOEL. Anne was born in Saint Thomas, and resided in Tillsonburg, then moved to Mitchell where she and David owned and operated a nursing home and a variety store from 1976 until 1989. Then moving to Long Point where Anne and David owned and operated a photo finishing shop in Tillsonburg. Anne worked at Millwood Manor Retirement Home in Kitchener. She was a registered nurse for 40 plus years. She belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Theta Pi Chapter in Mitchell. She was associated with the Mennonite Brethren Church in Port Rowan. She taught first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. She was a teacher's assistant for 3 years in Mitchell, and was treasurer for the Mitchell Figure Skating Club. The family will receive Friends at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday June 28, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service for Anne will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday June 29, 2006 at 3 p.m. Lynne ALLEN of Saint Paul's United Church officiating. Cremation to follow. Family interment at a later date. At the family's request, memorial donations (payable by cheque) in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association.
