and a sister, Lynne. From an early age John (Jack) demonstrated
his love of music and became proficient in several instruments.
He was a member of the Toronto Scottish Pipe Band for eight years
and played for many bands afterwards, including the Highland
Creek Legion Pipe Band, The Perth Regiment R.C.R. Pipe Band,
the Saint Marys Pipe Band, the Mocha Temple Shriners Pipe Band,
the Mitchell Legion Band and the London Promenade Orchestra.
Visitation will be in the Parish Hall of St. James' Anglican
Church, Saint Marys, Ontario on Friday, February 10th, 2006 from
7-9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday,
February 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. at St. James' Anglican Church, St.
Marys,

TANNER beloved husband of Barbara, passed away
peacefully in his home in Calgary after a short battle with cancer
on Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Ben was
born on June 15, 1927 in Cardston, Alberta. He received a B.A.
from the University of British Columbia and received an L.L.B.
from the University of Alberta. Ben married Barbara
FISHER and
moved to Toronto, Ontario where together they raised four children.
Ben's greatest passion in life was his love of horses which he
shared and enjoyed at his farm in Caledon, Ontario. Besides his
loving wife Barbara, Ben is survived by his four children, Connie,
Elizabeth, Nathan and Robert; son-in-law Curtis

Traci TANNER; and by his seven beautiful grandchildren, Merrill,

side. Henry fought a long and brave battle with cancer, surrounded

in Lodz in 1947, the child of Holocaust survivors, Henry left

accomplished in many fields, Henry lived life on his own terms

from York University and went on to become a successful marketing
sales executive. Dianne moved to Vancouver with her husband in
1986 to start her family. She was a devoted mother and very active
in community fund raising efforts and school P.A.C. activities.
She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and Friends.
