98 went home to be with his Lord. "Doc" was born in Mildmay,
Ontario and practiced Veterinary Medicine in Sarnia from 1939-1980,
where he and his partner, Doctor Jim
HARVEY, built the Blue Cross
Animal
Hospital.

LOBSINGER graduated from the
University of Guelph in 1934 with an Agriculture Diploma and
in 1938 received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. A special
thank you to Marilyn and all of "Doc's" special angels who have
cared for him at 291 Davis St. over the past 15 years and for
the compassionate care he received in his final days at Trillium
Villa. Visitation at the McKenzie and Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation
Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Saturday from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 2: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Eugene

Church on Monday at 10 a.m.. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.

to China, Ambassador to Viet Nam, Deputy Secretary-General of
the Commonwealth and High Commissioner to Malaysia and Brunei.
Served Canada also as Trade Commissioner in the Netherlands and
Hong Kong and following retirement, as Administrator for the
Canadian Code of Corporate Conduct in South Africa. Born in Chengtu,
China in 1919 to builder missionary Walter

University College, University of Toronto and honorary LL.D.
from University of Guelph. During World War 2, served in the
Royal Canadian Navy for 4 years on loan to the Royal Navy in
the North Atlantic, the Mediterranean, the Normandy landing and
in Australia. Long-time elder at St. David and Saint Martin Presbyterian
Church, Ottawa and member of the Board of the Presbyterian World
Service. Lifelong sports enthusiast and ambassador on the tennis
courts as well as off. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Elizabeth
Bruyere Centre from family and Friends. Memorial service at St. David
and Saint Martin Presbyterian Church, 444 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa,
Wednesday, May 31 at 11: 00. In lieu of flowers, donation to your

After a long life passed away peacefully at York Central Hospital
on Monday, January 30th, 2006 at the age of 91. Predeceased by
her husband John, son Chris and her daughter Vera. Beloved grandmother
of Florence (Flavio), John (Kathryn), Paul (Cheryl) and Nick.
Cherished great-grandmother of Richard (fiancée Paola), Paul,
Michael, Melissa, Erin, Natalie and Alexander. Will be sadly
missed by her son-in-law Angelo
