SOMERVILLE, Viola Rena (née QUINN)
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Viola Rena SOMERVILLE of London on December 3, 2006, at University Hospital in her 90th year. Wife of the late Mr. Ransom "Budd" DADD (1966) and former wife of the late Fred SOMERVILLE. Sister of the late Madeline TUCKER, Edna FREEMANTLE and Camelia "Kay" HINTON her twin sister. Survived by her sister Audrey CROZIER (James CLAIR.) Dear aunt of Ron (Barb) HINTON and family, Ken (Wendy) HINTON and family, Barb (Roland) STEWARD/STEWART/STUART and family and Beverley (John) McINTYRE and family. Special thanks to the 2nd floor staff of Mt. Hope for their patience and loving care. Visitation will be held in the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas Street, London) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 1 p.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Egerton Street Baptist Church.

Peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 70. Alfredo, beloved husband of Cristina. Loving father of Angelo and his wife Antonella and Lisa and her husband Paul PELLEGRINI. Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Jamie, Matthew, Sebrina and Daniel. Survived by brother Antonio and mother-in-law Teresa RICCIUTO. Predeceased by sister Margherita. Will be sadly missed by his many relatives and Friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100 on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at Saint Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Ave.) at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Of Saint Thomas on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Florence (THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) DADSON and dearly loved father of Douglas and his wife Connie DADSON of Saint Thomas and the late Ann Elizabeth DADSON and her husband Ralph CORRIGAN of Cookstown. Dear brother of the late David DADSON (wife late Violet,) Betty JONES (husband late Pete) and the late Violet TITTERINGTON (husband late George.) Dear brother-in-law of the late Orville THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (wife Helen of Thunder Bay,) Bess CLOSS (husband late Jack) Saint_Jacobs, Pauline EAMES of Saint Thomas and late Paul WALKER (wife Irene of Brockville.) Loved grandfather of Margaret Catherine and her husband Jim, the late Murray Thomas DADSON (January 9, 1996,) Michael Wesley DADSON, Jeanette Ann and Tom BRADBURY and John and Stacey CORRIGAN. Sadly missed by eight great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Murray was born in Saint Thomas on April 9, 1915, the son of the late Wesley and Mary Louise (SIMMONS) DADSON. He has lived in Saint Thomas all his life and was the retired owner of Murray Dadson Heating (25 years). He was a life active member of Grace United Church and a member of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Thursday morning and then to Grace United Church for funeral service at 11: 00 a.m. Interment follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Grace United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday, July 4th, 2006, at the age of 87 years, Lloyd THEDE of Port Elgin. Husband for 54 years of the former Kathleen WARDROP. Father of Grant and his wife Marie of Port Elgin, Nancy and her husband Neil DADSWELL of Port Elgin, and Jim and his wife Kim of Burgoyne. Grandfather of Jennifer DADSWELL, and Ross, Jamie, and Sarah THEDE. Brother of Keith and his wife Audrey of London. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores), on Wednesday evening, July 5th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Bob JOHNSTON officiating. At her late residence on Monday, March 6, 2006 Mary (DADY) COX of Exeter in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late William COX (1995.) Dear mother of Roy COX and Margaret of Shedden, Dan and Deborah COX of Embro and Terry and Janice COX of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Troy; Dennielle, Damon, Jason, Lindsay and Tammy; and Brad, Tyler and Natasha. Missed by sisters Sally of Fredericton, New Brunswick and Kitty of England and brothers Danny, Joey, Ted, John and Albert all of England. Predeceased by a daughter-in-law Suzanne and a sister Marjorie. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter on Wednesday, March 8th with The Reverend Fr. Bill WARD officiating.
