Peacefully surrounded by his children, on Sunday June 11, 2006. Gordon Everett CUCKSEY of R.R.#2 Lakeside in his 80th year. Dear friend of Marie LENART of Ingersoll. Loved father of Linda and Larry ELSON of Parkhill, Jeffrey CUCKSEY and his partner Luc BÉDARD of Ottawa, Ken and Brenda CUCKSEY of Wingham, Greg CUCKSEY of Tavistock and daughter-in-law Geraldine CUCKSEY of Hickson. Loving "Grandpa Gord" to Melinda, Chrystal, Jennifer, Bridget and Jonathan, and Becky and Michelle. Great-grandpa to Ethan and Noah. Also survived by one sister Marion HANDLEY of Saint Marys. Predeceased by parents Charles and Mabel CUCKSEY, sister Madeline MILLS and brother Ray CUCKSEY. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon was a member of The Huff and Puffs and the Dixie Land Singers and will be sadly missed by all. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St. Thamesford on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Chalmers United Church, Kintore on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. Rev. Janice AICKEN officiating. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations maybe given to Chalmers United Church or the charity of one's choice. A Masonic memorial service under the auspices of Doric-Corinthian Lodge #569 will be held Tuesday at 6: 45 p.m.

Passed away on Friday, September 29, 2006 at London Health Sciences Centre -- Westminster Campus in her 50th year. Beloved wife of William CUCKSEY. Cherished mother of Rebacca (Jason) McKEEN. Loving foster mother of Amy WILSON, Theresa WILSON, Christopher JAMIESON, Ian BADGER, Tracy GONNEAU and their families. Loved daughter of Jessie WILSON and the late Ernest WILSON. Dear sister of Shirley (Rick) TERRY- WILSON of Ladysmith Vancouver, Rose (Ted) JOHNSON, Ernie WILSON, Donna (Mike) WILSON, Donna (Joe) MacINTYRE and the late May WILSON and Susan WILSON. Loving daughter-in-law of Donald and Lillian CUCKSEY and their families. Jeannette will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Of Saint Thomas, on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at his late residence, in his 77th year. Dearly loved husband of Hilda (ISERWOOD) YATES and loved father of Colin and his wife Connie of Belmont, Cheryl CUCUNATO of Florida, Glynis and her husband Aldo LONGO of London, Michael and his wife Lisa of Saint Thomas, Jeffrey of Saint Thomas, Louise and her husband Joe CECHARIO of Florida, Richard and his wife Luanne of Saint Thomas and the late Alexander John YATES (March 10, 2002). Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren. Predeceased by a grand_son. He was the last of his family. Colin was born in Wales on May 16, 1930, the son of the late Bertram and Ada Louise (WEEKS) YATES. Colin was a self employed electrician. He served in the Royal Navy (Flight Air Arm). He was a member of Holy Angels' Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Saturday morning and then to Holy Angels' Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 4: 00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, with remembrances to the Holy Angels' Church Building Fund.
