Passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Dearness Home in his 91st year. Loving husband of Phyllis (née COVE.) Dear father of Gilbert and his wife Catherine, Murray, Robin and Heather and her husband François DUFRESNE. Grandfather of David, Emily, Bridget, Marshall and his wife Anna and Cameron and great-grandfather of Myah. Marshall is survived by one sister "Mab" of Scotland. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Westmount Presbyterian Church, 521 Village Green Avenue, London, on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society, 555 Southdale Road East, Suite 100, London, N6E 1A2 would be appreciated.

Peacefully at home, amongst loved ones, the Lord, her Saviour, took to Himself, our loving Mother and Vavo, Emilia da Conceical Lourenco de Medeiros TRAVASSOS, the beloved wife of the late Angelo TRAVASSOS (2005,) on Sunday, October 8, 2006, at the age of 79. Deeply loved by her children, Lenore KROH, and her friend Alan COVENEY; and Michael and Ingrid TRAVASSOS. Cherished Vavo of Jennifer, Nicole and Tyler KROH; and their father, son-in-law, Robert KROH; Zachary and Natasha TRAVASSOS. Survived by her younger sister, Lenore CARVALHO, of Portugal, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mariano and Emilia DE MEDEIROS, an infant son (1965) and six brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. COVENT, Linda (née BIRNBAUM)
After a courageous battle with cancer, Linda COVENT peacefully passed away surrounded by family at Hill House Hospice on Monday, March 20, 2006. Linda demonstrated immeasurable strength and determination throughout her life. Her gentle, graceful, and loving nature left a lasting and joyful impression on everyone she touched. Linda, beloved wife of Warren, and loving mother and mother-in-law of Andrea and Moira, Jason and Robyn. An adoring Bubbie to Ashlee, and Jordyn, a devoted daughter-in-law to Ethel COVENT, and a loving niece to Fran ROHER. She had a special relationship with her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Pat and loved her sister-in-law Patricia and her husband, Brian. She was a loving aunt to Lawrence and Wendy, Gerald and Cheryl, Leslie and Bill, Michael and Oiman, Peter and Janet, and David and all of their children. Linda left a legacy of love, generosity and integrity. She will be forever remembered and cherished by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin), for service on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment Temple Harzion section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery. CURTIS, Peter James
Peter CURTIS passed away suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, October 28, 2006 in his 88th year. Husband of Jennifer CURTIS of Owen Sound. son of the late William Henry CURTIS and Helen Florence CURTIS (née BIRT) of London, England. Peter is survived by his son Craig CURTIS and his wife Christine of Owen Sound and three grandchildren, Brent, Rebekah and James. Also survived by his sister Jean COVENTRY and her husband Dick of Brighton, England and brother-in-law Derek BOYLE and his wife Eileen of Cape Town, South Africa. Peter was born in London, England in 1919. He qualified as a Chemist at the University of London. Following service in World War 2, he immigrated to Cape Town, South Africa where he became Artistic Director of the CAPAB professional theatre company. During this time, he was acclaimed for his acting, direction and production of the World Premieres of a number of plays by the renowned and controversial playwright Athol Fugard. He and his wife Jennifer, a dance choreographer and theatre designer, moved to Canada in 1981. He continued acting and directing at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton and the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. At Peter's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound and the Georgian Theatre Festival in Meaford through Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.

Sadly missed by 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Kind sister of Mary Jeanne MacTAGGART (Sarnia) and sister-in-law of Betty LUCIER (Wallaceburg.) LEVER, Robert Wm. " Bob"
At the Centre Grey Hospital in Markdale on Friday July 14, 2006 in his 78th year. Best friend and devoted husband of the late Eleanor LEVER. " Rob" or "Bob" as he was known to many locals, was born in Toronto on November 23, 1928, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Fred LEVER. He met and married Eleanor and they enjoyed 19 years of marriage together. After a long career with Canada Post in Toronto, he and Eleanor retired to their dream house in Proton Station in 1977. They enjoyed their time together - particularly their passion for dancing. After Eleanor died in 1996, Bob continued his interest in "Reflective" Dancing until he succumbed to his respiratory illness. He will be loved and always remembered by his close friend, caregiver and as he would call her "his angel" Cindy COVER and his many Friends and neighbours.

Loving father of Michael DENCH of Saint Thomas, Neil DENCH (Wendy) of London, and John DENCH (Kathleen) of Saint Thomas. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Andrew, Laura, Carla, Jordan and Robin. Dear brother of Joy FRANKS (David) in England. Special friend of Karen, Terri and Raeda. Also survived by a nephew, Wayne COVEY (Angie) in England. Born in Three Bridges, Sussex, England, September 2, 1934, the son of the late Frederick and Edith (ANSFIELD) DENCH. He was a retired engineer at the Ford Motor Company of Canada's Saint Thomas Assembly Plant. John was a former member of the Jumbo Striding Club.
