on Saturday, March 25, 2006. Husband of Irene (née
CHMARA.)
Father
of Barbara (Stan), Richard (Elaine) and John. Grandfather of
Tracey (Lee), Thomas (Andrea), Susan (Neil), Robert, Tasha and
Taylor. Great-grandfather of Kathleen, Nicholas and Patrick.
Predeceased only 2 months earlier by his brother Zbigniew (Zofia)
on January 19, 2006, in Zyrardow, Poland. John was born in Poland
on December 17, 1920, spending his first years in the Warsaw
area until he emigrated to Canada after World War 2, married
Irene, and worked as a machinist at De Havilland Aircraft in
Toronto for 25 years. John loved to spend seasons at the family
cottage on the Magnetawan River near Dunchurch, Ontario, especially
with the children. John was a choir-member for 50 years at St. Casimir's
Church. Thank you to the staff at the Trillium Health Centre
and Mount Sinai Hospital. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter
Funeral Home, 436 Roncesvalles Ave. (at Howard Park), on Sunday
and Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Rosary Monday at 7 p.m. Funeral
Mass to be held from St. Casimir's Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave.,
on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, 10: 15 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.

Tomasz, Dominic, Lukasz, Sylwia and Sebastian. Brother of Franciszka
and Bernadeta. Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Poland. Predeceased
by his parents Wiktor

KWIATKOWSKA and
by seven siblings including his brother Albert who died in the
Katyn Forest Massacre in World War 2. Visitation has taken place.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa
Church, 419 Hill Street, on Saturday at 10: 00 a.m. Interment Saint Peter's
Cemetery. (O'Neil Funeral Home 432-7136).

salesperson for Acheson Colloids Company for 23 years. He was
highly regarded by his fellow employees and customers, and will
be sadly missed. The family will receive Friends at the "Thorpe
Brothers' Funeral Home and Chapel", 96 West Street on Thursday
and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., with Parish Prayers
on Friday at 3: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Basil's
Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street on Saturday March 25,
2006 at 11 a.m., followed by Interment at Saint_Joseph's Cemetery.
